## Most critical reviews (5 lowest-rated)

### 2/5 — VS on iPad

*2026-08-02*

Recording resolution options on iOS are poor. Even on high setting it’s only 720p. Save your money and don’t bother with iOS version.

### 3/5 — Not stable

*2026-07-30*

Sadly the app crashes a lot when trying to import audio or video files. Wish it was more stable

### 3/5 — If you haven’t created a VS account, CREATE ONE :) Doesn’t support .M4A files

*2026-06-25*

Everything below is still true, but just found today it doesn’t support .m4a files that are exported by default from Logic Pro. Hate knowing that I’ll have to remember that every time I use it. :( I normally don’t create accounts for apps that don’t require them so when I got VS2, I thought it would use iCloud to sync purchases like other apps do. So, if you also found yourself in the position of wondering if you’ll need to repurchase your packs, you don’t. Just create an account, log into it in VS1, then load VS 2, log into the account THERE and after logging in you should have them available to download. Added bonus, it works on Apple Vision Pro, so waking through the demo with two virtual screens was better than trying to do it on my one iPad screen (and the YouTube walkthrough is REALLY bad. If you’re the type to try to create exactly what the demo tells you to do, good luck as they don’t call out several steps as they make them. It’s so bad, I kinda want to create a version with me doing the voiceover just to help out those purchasers!)

### 5/5 — Yes, you can use your VS1 refills

*2026-02-21*

Great developers, they responded quickly when I wrote them about transferring my refill packs from VS1 to VS2. You have to sign in on both apps, and reload them on VS2. Worked beautifully. Very nice upgrade, I’m having a blast.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for the kind words! We’re really glad our team could help and that the transfer worked smoothly for you. Enjoy VS2 — it means a lot to hear you’re having a blast with the upgrade! 🎉
