I just spent 2 hours trying to verify my email. It kept signing me out when it tried to do ANYTHING. It is very clear little investment went into UX, user testing, or QA. I’ve hit bugs and dead ends in so many core workflows that I have to pay for. I’ve been a member of VSCO for over 2 years now, I couldn’t recommend this app enough to anyone. Especially if you’re United Kingdom based like myself, the app has predominately US audience but is expanding to the rest of the world. The chances of your work being seen are so much greater than social media. No need for SEO or heavy marketing, the app is free from doomscrolling too although you can edit and post video I wouldn’t recommend that. There is an algorithm on VSCO but not what you may think, the app analyses your image and recommends similar images (basically what Instagram originally did), i get lost in related images, the algorithm really does show you related images. Hashtags actually function as hashtags and best of all: you could post a picture with no captions or tags and still get tonnes of exposure!
