The system when you are in An appointment can be intermittent. Someone is often dropping off the call and so you can miss most of the appointment. Maybe in the future I can look forward to a few more options... such as; saving your text, more options for identifying ringtones, a help button, or link, etc. All that aside, thanks for providing this up! Not only is it a great tool I use for my personal use, but HIPAA compliant for our Medical Professionals. Recent update helped fix my crashing issue! It's at the top of the ipad - on portrait view, above the ipads little belly button. Why the heck did vsee create an app that puts the camera in landscape. To the left or right of the screen. Whenever you try to use it you have to look to one side to seem to be looking at the other party (and miss all the action). There’s been times I’ve wasted my entire session trying to connect to my clinician. Thank you. ### 1/5 — STILL doesn't work after months *2021-03-25* Months ago I had problems with VSee and spent hours trying to correct it only to give up in frustration when customer service couldn't help me without asking for my password and asking me to drop security on my internet. At my provider's request, I tried again today. Updated my password, can login on the website. Downloaded the app. Couldn't login. Powered down, then restarted my device. Still couldn't login. I repeatedly get the "Connecting" screen, but it just circles forever. Won't spend hours on this again. **Developer response:** Hello. Thanks for letting us know about your concern. When I am on a call on VSee on my iPad and I want to check my emails at the same time with split screen the camera freezes. This is unacceptable in 2021 for an IPad Pro and an application that’s meant to be for professionals. What if I want to share information with my client or check my email or open a website at the same time of the call!? I hope that someone reads this and makes the adjustment so that the camera does not freeze in multitasking. Again I’m an an iPad Pro 2020. ### 1/5 — Very Buggy *2020-05-01, version 4.7.0* When it works, it provides a service, no more, no less. When it doesn’t work, or intermittently works, as it does at the moment, it is very frustrating. Audio is poor, so much so that my mum prefers to hear me on the phone, whilst I mute the audio. The video is similar to Skype used to be, fuzzy at best. Then there’s the dropout problem. It currently drops the connection at the end of each call, so you have to use a cumbersome process of re-logging on (through another app-myhomehelper in my case) then wait until it says its online, before making the next call. An update on the MacBook on 30th April has radically improved quality but this doesn’t appear to be available on the iPad. WHY?? ### 1/5 — Absolutely terrible *2020-04-15, version 4.7.0* This app is completely unreliable. I have video sessions every weekday and the app will not let me log in at least two of those days. I have contacted the company twice, and so did my provider and we NEVER heard back. Avoid this app if you can. Just use your desktop. ### 1/5 — I can’t even sign in *2020-04-11, version 4.7.0* Every time when I try to sign in, it says I have no internet connection. But I do tho? When it works it is good but hasn’t been working for several days. Means I cannot contact my elderly father who is in isolation. ### 1/5 — Sound *2016-10-30, version 3.5.3* Why can't the volume be turned down to zero? ### 1/5 — Awful *2015-06-25, version 3.1.2* I think that vsee has mixed opinions and my opinion is that vsee is very good for texting but not for video chat as I found that when I was on with friends I couldn't hear anything and I tried everything to make it work but it ended up making me more stressed and I wouldn't like to use it ever again and I don't see how nasa liked it for there poor quality of sound ### 1/5 — Just keeps closing unexpectedly *2014-02-04, version 2.4* Seems like a good idea but the app needs work on my 2nd gen ipad. I cannot open it up for long before it just closes in its own. Was trying to deploy within my corp environment but this has stopped me in my tracks. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Fantastic app for secure low bandwidth video meetings *2023-02-14* I’ve used VSee (at no cost) for many years (at least 11 years) to run sessions with clients. Originally as a secure and low bandwidth alternative to Skype, which I found was necessary living in a remote island location off the coast of Panama. It requires a lot less data throughput making it ideal for low bandwidth internet connections. It’s also end to end encrypted and HIPAA compliant. Better than Zoom in that regard, which requires buying a special health care license. I’m my 11 years with VSee, I’ve not experienced the reliability issues I see some people complaining about in the reviews. Perhaps that was an issue with a past iPad version? I’ve used the iPad app today for the first time, for a 2 hour video call, and it worked great.
