It’s crashed every time I’m close to finishing the sim. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2022-11-26, version 2022.3.2* It’s ridiculous that we pay so much money for school and for books and this is what we have to work with. Shame on this company. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2022-10-28, version 2022.3.2* I don’t know how many app reviews I have ever done in my life. However, despite having used hundreds if not thousands, this is by far the worst ever. It is required for nursing programs which are already very busy and stressful. This app simply does not work. I was unable to access the VSIM on my phone, so it says to download the app, I download this app after waiting and deciding to set-up my Apple ID on my school iPad, when I do it takes forever to download. Once I’ve gone through all of these steps, I quickly login and then it directs me to same site on my phone which somehow thinks my iPad is not a tablet and is a mobile device and still doesn’t let me access what I need. So all of this to say, this app is complete trash, and you need to login using a computer. Maybe it works better for windows based products, but it doesn’t work at all as of October 28th, 2022. This is even more disappointing to see the responses to the other reviews as recently as October 13th claiming that they are aware and have fixed these issues when they still have not. It is shameful that as nursing students and medical professionals we have to rely on such broken products. We do not need more stress and problems in our lives as we are trying our best to learn, grow, and keep other people alive. This is extremely disappointing. I would like to request a refund for my subscription to CoursePoint. I requested a refund and was told it wasn’t possible, waiting to speak to a manager. They told me that this app cannot be accessed on any mobile or tablet device that it is ONLY available on desktop or laptop computers. So frustrating and disappointing and a waste of our time and energy. They should be clear about that then on the website and this app has no reason to exist if it doesn’t work at all and the company is aware that it doesn’t work. Why are you telling us that you are working to fix it, just tell us it doesn’t work and we won’t spend time trying to download and make it work…. Do better. ### 1/5 — Crashes *2022-10-03, version 2022.3.2* This app is suppose to allow you a half hour for your vsim, crashes after 9 minutes. ### 1/5 — Worthless waste of time *2022-09-29, version 2022.3.2* This app doesn’t work, period. It will let you enter the sim, via the website only, and will randomly close down, losing all your progress, having to start completely over. Gave up after the third attempt. I could have been done and well onto my second sim by this point, if not done completely, but I have to log onto the computer and start all over again in order to finish this simulation for class. ### 1/5 — TERRIBLE AND UNREALISTIC *2022-08-17, version 2022.3.1* this app is horrendous. don’t update it, get rid of it! huge waste of time for such a minimal portion of our grade. i dont need a giant pic that stays on my screen for 10 seconds explaining what a nasal cannula is. this is not am “emt for dummies” class. ridiculous ### 1/5 — vSim won’t transfer as completed to your account.. don’t waste your time *2022-07-13, version 2.1.1* I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt after reading the reviews. I completed the whole assignment and everything but the actual vSim transferred to my account. After completing the simulation the app kept responding with “please try again later” and it never uploaded. I had to redo it on my laptop. You can use this app if you don’t have access to a computer at the moment and want to start the process but know that the completed assignment will not submit. ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2022-07-10, version 2.1.1* So I have been doing vSim for my nursing classes with no problem with I was using a browser to do it. This is my last nursing course before graduation and we have to now use this next gen app and it is horrible. I have been trying to do my assignment since 7/4/22 and I have called tech support 4-5 times now. Even if I am able to complete the simulation, the biggest issues is that after I finish the SBAR, it will not let me hit done, meaning it does not save my attempts. Tonight alone I have tried it 4 times with no success. Last I was told that they are having issues with the app and iOS systems- of course that’s what I have....so what am I to do now? I am not buying a windows laptop just for this....lots of work needs to be done to fix it...not user friendly ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2022-05-25, version 2.0.1* If I could give it 0 stars I would. With a new version of my textbook for nursing school all my vsims have to be done through this app which won’t allow me to submit them. This app keeps crashing no matter what I do and I can not complete an assignment! ### 1/5 — Just one work…. HORRIBLE *2022-03-16, version 2.0.1* The app is horrible. I did so many times for the stimulation, and at the end, it just says it cannot upload now. Nothing to saved, and it took me so much time to do just the stimulation for each Vsim. I called the technical support, then they said cant retrieved all of my result. They asked me to change the browser, so i changed to firefox and chrome. Nothing helped. Student in nursing school do not that much time sitting there and deal with the app errors. We have a lot of things to do as well. At the end of this semester, I will complaint about this, and will recommend them not to use this program for next cohorts. Doesn’t let me complete any assignments ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — App not Supported on IPad *2024-09-26, version 2024.2.0* I spent one hour and about 6 partial attempts on Stan Checketts (same problem on the last few I’ve tried as well), before it would inevitably crash bringing me back to my Home Screen. There is also no resume button, so every time I lost all my progress. It’s impossible to submit an assignment if you can’t complete it. I really hope this problem gets fixed! ### 1/5 — It doesn’t always give full credit *2024-09-07, version 2024.2.0* I will follow all the steps but for whatever reason it never recognizes that I have viewed the EHR. I will click through every tab of the EHR and scroll through everything, several times throughout the simulation but it never gives me credit for it. ### 1/5 — Yup, app is trash *2023-11-17, version 2023.3.2* Good thing I started my homework days before its due. I have an M1 iPad Pro, and nothing I do seems to get my past the Sim Loading screen. I’ve restarted my iPad, checked the internet connection, deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing changes. So how does a company with as much resources as this have a trash app? Easy, we have no choice but to use it as students. I’m going to have to use a work PC from the early 2010s and hope I can finish this assignment. ### 1/5 — Frustrating! *2023-05-05, version 2023.1.0* It keeps shutting me out! Every time I’m close to being done, it just randomly closes and all of my progress is gone and i have to start ALL over. You have a great product here, but the difference of the application working or not working (which it is not working) is attributing to the bad ratings and reviews ### 1/5 — VSim does not work well *2023-01-26, version 2022.4.2* I tried doing a maternity sim on my iPad but it would not update the orders after calling the provider, which is essential for fully completing the VSim.
