## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Does not work with GarageBand

*2020-04-04*

You get the great amp sounds, but nothing records to GarageBand and the in and out meters do nothing. Every other amp app I use works fine. I tried messaging the support email address only to be told the email address doesn’t exist. Very poor customer service for a damn expensive app. Avoid.

### 1/5 — Cannot restore

*2019-09-25*

Trying to restore purchases it says I made, which I have. Not compatible with iOS 13? Refuses to update.

### 1/5 — Brittle, Nothing Special, Unfinished

*2018-10-11*

The noise gate doesn’t function properly.

It won’t allow input selection in GarageBand and fails to pass any signal.

Winding out the main outs of the amp head overpowers the output level adjustment.

Limited effects.

Not a rich harmonic content and transient response in the distortion zones.

No microphone selections and placement options.

A bit better than what GarageBand offers and as long as its free its better than nothing.

### 3/5 — MIDI

*2022-10-29, version 1.2.0*

Não tem oração pra controle via MIDI faz muita falta

### 3/5 — Doesn’t work with GarageBand

*2019-06-28*

App doesn’t work with GarageBand as advertised. Even followed their onscreen steps to connect to GB via Inter app audio, but GB doesn’t recognize it as an input, there’s no signal.

As a stand-alone app, it sounds nice. Only get 2 amps though, have to purchase others.

### 3/5 — Timbre muito bom

*2019-06-16, version 1.1.2*

Com a roland rubix 22 apresenta bastante latência. Resolvam isso. Obrigado

### 3/5 — Too much latency

*2019-06-12*

The amps in general sound good. But i notice way more latency with this app than with my other guitar apps like BIAS AMP/FX, Amplitube, Tonestack etc.

I think the IAP prices are too high as well, bring the bundle price down some more too, fix the laency and i might consider this app some more. Otherwise i would recommend guitar players to invest their money in BIAS FX instead, which in my opinion is the king of all the guitar apps on iOS and a much better investment.

### 3/5 — Not supporting AUv3

*2018-11-14, version 1.1.1*

VSTOMP will be more interesting with AUv3 support.

### 5/5 — Great app bundled with Hotone JOGG

*2022-10-27*

Very good sounds and realistic amp simulations. If you own a Hotone JOGG this works great as a starting point in the amp sim world. It should be improved with the ability to be controlled by the Ampero Control via Bluetooth. Hope that comes soon.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2020-03-11*

I own most amp sims for iOS and this one is in the top two. Great amp sounds, easy controls and a very reasonable price.

All of the amps sound natural, and not thin like many iOS sims do. I like that it’s not super deep, like bias, because you just turn this one up and play.

I have had no latency issues at all.

I suggest you buy this amp sim.

### 5/5 — Great Sounding Amps

*2019-11-02*

The high gain amps sound amazingly great. Bought the Dual Rectifier, Soldano and Marshall 900 and their required cabinets and I am more than happy. Did some quick tracking in GarageBand on my Mac and I am blown away how good they sound in a mix. I used an iRig HD interface to my iPad Air 2 and did not experience any latency at all. I was able also to integrate my Apple camera adaptor so that I could charge my iPad while tracking with the iPad and amps.

Compared to other amp sims, I wish I would have found this one first. It's not overloaded with options or distractions. Set up the pedal, amp and cab and dial in the delay and reverb and you're off and running. The controls are responsive and move smoothly.

I seriously do not know why this amp sim isn't more popular. I've tried all the big-name sims and this one is way better sounding, more cost-effective and lets you save your settings as user presets. Try it out for a few dollars and see for yourself how good it sounds.

### 5/5 — Great!!!

Thanks for the update.
