This was the first one I found. First problem I experienced was that the ONLY way to get images to the app is to use their web storage service, using java plugin to upload. This would not work for me in multiple browsers. I finally found a computer that it would work on and uploaded the images. Second problem occurred when I tried to download them to my iPhone and iPad. The app quits every single time. Glad I didn't pay for the app or the service, and hope they get this working on new devices under iOS 6. ### 1/5 — Crashes *2012-04-30* I used this app on my iPad 2 with few issues. Now on the iPad 3 it crashes constantly after launching the app. Can't view any images. ### 1/5 — Impossible *2012-04-03* Bad instructions, no clear help for loading. Very disappointing. ### 1/5 — App is probably OK -- MIMCloud is horrific *2012-02-08, version 2.2.4* I never did manage to really try the app with my own images because I couldn't get them into MIMCloud which is the only option if you have your own data. MIMCloud is an extremely weighty java applet that I could not get to work in anything but Internet Explorer after having to install java -- this was a pain because I don't use Windows as my primary operating system and as an IT security professional I recommend that people *don't* have java installed as it constitutes a pretty serious security risk. After finally hauling out and booting up the old PC, the interface, which actually *scans through your computer* rather than just opening up a standard upload file chooser, wouldn't allow me to access the mapped network drive that my images were on. At that point I gave up. Plus, you only get 3 free uploads anyway -- not even enough for the xray set that I wanted to view. Further, uploads are a buck a piece -- which I suppose isnt't that big a deal BUT I don't need or want to use a hosting service in the first place! All I want to is to transfer the damn files to my iPad which would be far easier if I could just use file sharing in iTunes. Fine, I get that MIM needs to have a revenue model.... but seriously, for the amount of data that I'm *actually* going to upload for a $1 an image, they'd be better off charging a few bucks for the app and giving me access to file sharing. ### 1/5 — View me *2012-01-25* Will not let me in app. Have used all passwords and still will not open would like to find out more about Proton Radiation Surgery. This app is amazing and a scientific breakthrough for the civilian population the other end of this app is used by the doctors, surgeons radiologist etc. THE REMAINDER OF THIS MESSAGE IS TO THE PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT COMPUTER SAVVY TO HAVE SOMEONE THAT IS COMPUTER SAVVY SET YOUR ACCOUNT UP FOR YOU. YOU COULD ACTUALLY DO IT YOURSELF IF YOU LEARNED HOW TO READ AND FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. IT IS NO ONE’S FAULT BUT YOUR OWN THAT YOUR IQ IS UNDER 100. THEREFORE DON’T RUIN IT FOR THE INTELLIGENT PEOPLE THAT REALLY NEED THIS APP. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT OUT THERE THAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO VIEW YOUR OWN MRI CT SCAN AND X-RAYS ON AN iPad OR AN iPhone. ALSO ALLOWING THEM TO SHARE THEIR FILMS WITH FAMILY MEMBERS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY IN MY CASE THE WORLD. IF YOU AREN’T ABLE TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO SET UP YOUR ACCOUNT THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULD JUST STICK WITH PLAYING ANGRY BIRDS OR ONE OF THE SIMPLE MINDED GAMES SOLD ON APP STORE. THIS IS FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE LOOKING TO SAVE THEIR LIVES OR SOMEONE THAT THEY LOVE. THIS APP IS AMAZING AND IF YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO USE IT THEN DON’T WRITE A REVIEW. ### 5/5 — Amazing! *2019-07-12* This app allows me to see all the photos, from different perspectives (directions) of my own MRI. I injured my back, and after my MRI I simply asked my Doctor for a copy, then uploaded it to the VueMe website, and now all the studies are on my own tablet. Great tools and function. Now if I need to show my doctor something important he can at least get an idea about how large and how many kidney stones I had at that time. ### 4/5 — Good app. Needs update *2017-11-29* This is the only app I’ve found that lets you download your own MRIs to your phone. Most viewers can only show in the acquired view, but this one lets you switch between axial, coronal, and sagital. Very nice!
