### 2/5 — Keep getting stuck

This game could sure use some instructions and a way to get hints when stuck, which is often. I really like donut games usually but this one has too many inconsistencies and it’s harder if you’ve played traps and gem stones because thet game has much better usability. I’ve persevered because I like solving problems but I am now completely stuck. It’s very frustrating to know there must be something the game makers consider obvious to do but you can’t figure what it is.  Sigh.

I enjoyed “Traps n’ Gemstones” but this one is too hard and unforgiving for me. It’s classic Mario-like platformer including the tedious go back to start when you die. It’s just too tedious to be fun. I wish there was an easy mode.

Such a deep game for an iOS platformer. Levels are very challenging and well thought out. The game trusts its users to figure it out. Controls are reliable and the art is on point.

Edit: just finished the game. Very rewarding all the way through and I definitely feel like I got my money's worth. Thanks for a standout game.

First off I know that frustrating isn't what most people want from there games , but this little platform game is so charming , intriguing & most of all fun that it's not a bad thing at all. The puzzles are at times so hard they seem impossible but it's just about trying to think In a different way or finding that little clue to how to solve it. This game will grip you not obsessively but you will find yourself at random times thinking & solving the puzzles I your head & suddenly you can't wait to get 5 minutes to quickly go & advance further. Overall this game has great humour , slick retro style graphics & enough thought put into it you'll forget it's only a Pocket player game , great fun !

A great game. Cute graphics, difficult but fair puzzles, and decent length (about 2-4 hours). A bit challenging for casuals but perfect for those who love meteoidvanias/trading items to get other items.

I got this game the day after it came out and was almost immediately drawn straight in and addicted to it's amazing gameplay. It took me a while to get the hang of it but once I did I just couldn't stop playing.

    At first I was really frustrated with the controls, how low the maximum health was and that you only respawn with half health, the way of finding items in various levels to finish another one, and having to doing the levels all in different order instead of starting with level 1 and then level 2 and so on. But after a while I began to enjoy the way these features made the game more challenging and adventurous.

    But like all good things it does have it's faults. Probably the main one in my head is the ending. At first I was really excited as I finally got on the hot air balloon, but then my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. At the end you fly off, and then that's it! End game. Just plain annoying and boring. My recommendation to Donut Games is that they continue the storyline: Basically, when they fly off in the hot air balloon, they decide to go to *insert-place-here* (maybe they go visit the Seven Wonders of the World) and then you unlock a new world/page of levels, in a whole new different location/country with a whole new goal, but even so you can still access the original levels even after you have unlocked the new ones. But don't stop at just one new location! Keep adding more and more levels every now and then so that the game never gets old. That would be the final feature necessary to establish this game as one of the best I have ever played in this style on iOS.

    All in all, this game is absolutely amazing, but could do with more levels.

Steuerung grottig, zumindest auf iP7 und iPAir2. Die Logik des Spiels erschließt sich einem nicht.
Geld kann man gleich zum Fenster rauswerfen, da ist es besser aufgehoben, als für diese App.👎🏻 Finger weg, sogar noch für umsonst zu teuer der 💩.

I loved donut games and have all of them.  This one is expensive and such a poor amateurish dull platform game.  There is nothing to it.  It feels like someone else made it and donut games are trading off their past reputation to sell it.  I can't believe I wasted my money on it.  If I could get a refund I would as I feel cheated. Please don't give your money or time away to this.

Love this game, the graphics the strategy the format the game play, it just might be the best I’ve ever played on my phone. 
Very frustrating that I can’t find any other games like it.

Das Spiel ist super und die Bewertung hier (1★) entsprechen einfach nicht der Wahrheit. Der Einstieg ist zäh, weil man ein etwas anderes Spiel erwartet (Mario etc) und direkt am Anfang vor einem Rätsel steckt. Man weiß nicht wirklich was man tun soll.
Deswegen hatte ich auch erst eine schlechte Meinung und gab es wieder gelöscht.
Später hab ich es dann aber noch man probiert und mich auf das sehr eigene Spielprinzip eingelassen. Und auf einmal hat es super viel Spaß gemacht und ich gucke immer mal wieder nach einem zweiten Teil.

Also, bitte am Anfang nicht abschrecken lassen! Das Spiel bietet eine ziemlich neue Erfahrung und ist super.-

At first I was reluctant to buy the game but I was drawn to the graphics because of the similar super Mario world art direction. But What i really like about the game is the hunt for items which Require a little bit of strategy but all together its fun, not too long and enjoyable.

This game doesn't provide instant gratification, or points scores, or quick reaction tests. It won't hold your hand. But it IS an immensely fun classic which will be reminiscent for some fans of the best of the Dizzy series of games. Fantastic stuff, please make more like this!

Amazing game! Donut Games has a huge variety of games, and I really liked the path they took starting with Traps n' Gemstones. This is like a RPG but at the same time, it isn't. You can explore any level at any time, but you'll find yourself going back and forth nonstop until you find the right item. There are a few frustrating areas, and they don't make it clear that collectibles aren't transferred over between characters - almost all of the game until the end is three separate adventures, one for each character. I also found myself finishing the game too early and the ending was a little bit anticlimactic. However, it's not enough to take away any stars, it's really rewarding to solve a puzzle or get past a tricky area! Bosses aren't plentiful, but the 2-3 that do exist are lots of fun. While I wouldn't say that this tops Traps 'n Gemstones, I do highly recommend this game if you liked that one. Very unique! Make more like this!

This is an excellent little adventure game. The items used usually make sense although the game could really use a bit of clarity near the beginning that each characters quest is basically self contained. That through me off for a bit at the start. 

Highly recommended. Love it.
