App doesn’t work well, website doesn’t load. All they had to do was look at my account. It’s brand new. I still haven’t been able to get the text messages to work. Not very happy. Should have stayed with 8x8. ### 3/5 — Great Service....Just a couple of Issues.... *2020-04-24, version 3.0.17* I like the service. Seems to work well. Plus I LOVE that the calls are recorded. I’m a Real Estate Investor and 80% of my job is cold calling homeowners. So I love being able to re-listen to each conversation and see what I need to work on. However, I do have an issue I would really like to see addressed. Like for instance, when someone calls my Vumber and the call rings on my cell phone it doesn’t tell me that the call is coming from Vumber. So when I see on my cell that I’m getting a call and I don’t recognize the number, I never answer bc I had no idea it was from Vumber. I used to use Sideline and it always told me on the caller ID thst it was a Sideline call and I knew it was a business call. But bc Vumber doesn’t do thst I have potentially lost A LOT of money by not getting these calls. So yeah it would def be nice to see that get fixed. Other then that.....I have no complaints. ### 3/5 — Service itself works well but the app looks like it’s from 2008 *2019-05-31, version 3.0.16* So as far as making and receiving calls, Vumber has worked really well. No complaints there. It’s the IPhone app that’s the problem. The overall aesthetics are dated and bland, it looks like something coded from 2008. You also can’t search within the SMS’s with is a bit mind boggling to me. If you want to find that text you sent to “Nancy” who you met at the networking event last month, good luck! You’ll have to manually just go digging through your text hoping you find it. Also pictures and links don’t work, just straight text allowed. I would LOVE the service if the app looked better/more modern, you could send pics and I could search! ### 1/5 — Buggy *2019-01-24, version 3.0.7* Prevents you from resetting your password so it’s totally useless when your traveling and can’t get to your desktop to find your password. It’s a crummy interface that has mic issues. After a few calls no one can hear you. You have to turn your phone off and on again to get the app to work. This to me is shocking but perhaps we now are living in a world with no expectation of privacy. But I am wondering if this is even legal. ???? ### 1/5 — Totally useless app *2024-02-24, version 5.5.1* Can’t dial out, it just keeps dialing my Vumber number and I get my voicemail. It’s always been a crummy app, now it’s completely useless. ### 1/5 — Service is okay app is awful *2024-01-08* 1. Every update makes you log in again and erases your credentials. If you don’t keep them written down you’re out of luck. 2. Will not allow iPhone to store your credentials. 3. Shuts off music anytime you launch it - even if you’re only checking text messages. 4. I’m stuck in BFE without my credentials and I can’t use the app. Why should I keep paying for this service? ### 1/5 — Letting this service go *2023-09-06* For weeks now the app won’t save my sign in. I’ve had this service for years and it’s worked well. But the past month it’s cost me business b/c it keeps signing me out and then won’t let me sign back in. This is an amateur coding error. The 30 year olds are running this business and not doing a good job. ### 1/5 — Lousy app *2023-09-01* I’ve used Vumber for many years. This lousy app is going to run me off. You try to delete things and it signs you out. The app doesn’t let iPhone save the login so when I’m on the fields I don’t have access to it after it goes crazy and signs me out. It’s basic but reliable. Better than google voice. I love that it is a separate app. There is good customer support. They always respond in a timely way to questions. Price is more than fair. Worked fine, not sure what the 1 star reviews are all about.
