Makes the security system basically useless. What a waste of money. Please fix this ASAP to keep my home safe. ### 1/5 — You made it worse! *2016-03-14, version 2.4.0* The original app worked fine. Now, tons of errors. The Apple Watch app is useless. Just shows random Chinese words and you can't arm or disarm. Don’t bother rubbish!! ### 1/5 — Worse system ever *2018-09-23, version 2.7.1* I bought the w020 a year ago and only used it about 6 months. This apps just keep crashing after an ios update. Now this apps doesn’t recognize my ios no more so the alarm is useless. The previous version of the app was a bit buggy but thanks to excellent and fast service from the developers/smanos the bugs were corrected and the app updated making this a 5 star system. ### 4/5 — Push notification cannot be removed *2021-04-25* Please update app so that already seen push notifications disapper after they have been seen. This issue is serius because it can cause false alert. Overal app is good. ### 4/5 — Great system *2016-10-28* I have really enjoyed the W020 I purchased earlier this year. I did have issues when trying to set up but found it to be issues with my network, not the product. I use the arm and disarm functions and view the camera. The only reason fo 4 stars is it does not let you name more than 10 of the sensors. Should allow for all 30 to be renamed. ### 3/5 — Apple Watch? *2019-04-14* The app is great on iPhone. But on Apple Watch??? Yeah no. It keeps on saying I need a better connection. Ik my connection is fast and good. It keeps saying the Make sure the WiFi network of your smartphone is stable. I know it’s stable, I’ve tried it many times in different places as well, all with the same result. ### 3/5 — Good hardware, poor app & missing key features *2016-08-08, version 2.5.0* The hardware (camera & door sensors) for this alarm seem great, however the app is a big let down. It's very limited as to what you can do & is missing some key (basic) features: - There's no integration between the door alarms & the camera, eg to be able to start recording video when a door alarm is triggered. - The camera footage has no cloud storage; video is stored either on an SD card in the camera or via manually recording on the app on your phone (the user has to hit "record"). This is useless for recording burglar's faces as they can just nick the SD card. - If a door alarm is triggered the minimum duration you can set the alarm to sound for is a minute; you can't have just a 2 second chime sound as many other systems have. Integration with IFTT would be great too, although less urgent than the features above. In addition the timed arm/disarm feature just doesn't work at all for me, and in general the app is not well designed from a usability perspective (why is the camera viewing in a completely different part of the app?) There's so much potential with the great hardware (and no SIM card needed for remote access like in some rival systems - great!) but the app is severely lacking and makes it fairly useless at the moment.
