It is a full 5 minutes of WAAY promos and a few law firm ads. If it was all ads I would understand; the app has to be paid for somehow. Five minutes of listening to self promos is too long. Also when watching on a mobile phone, you cannot watch in landscape like you can with WAFF and WHNT. ### 1/5 — Not for me. *2023-08-03, version 8.3* WAAY 31 uses same talking points as main stream media. Every time an advertisement pops up there is no way to get back to the news without closing and reopening it. After a bit the same thing happens all over again. I have 2 family members with the same issue.
