If I enter a shift that should be the end of it. I don't want to or need to go back to it to "approve" it. Then there's this weird message on some "linked worked" and "linked scheduled" does nothing as far as I can see. Please just go back. Every review since the update is negative and yet they're doubling down on adding unnecessary additions. Seems they aren't actually listening to feedback like the email for this new update says. I'll have to look for a less convoluted hours tracker. Shame I've used this since the beginning and have a yearly subscription. ### 2/5 — Update *2026-01-22, version 2.5.3* Not a fan of new versions, old one was much better ### 2/5 — New update *2026-01-09, version 2.5.1* Was great app for counting how many hours iv worked and how much I will be getting payed but now it’s just focussed on getting you to buy a subscription. The new update doesn’t tell you how much your due to be payed until you’ve actually worked the shift? However, I can’t even log a sick day/holiday without paying for premium. Therefore, pay comes out inaccurate. For something which happens in every job - monetising it isn’t really the thing to do. I understand the Legal Hub and Payslip paywall, but not the standard functions on the rota. ### 2/5 — Was My most used app *2025-03-26, version 2.3.4* Couldn't find a list of things you got with premium so let my early adoption premium lapse. Now it's double the price just to find out the total hours worked each month. Just a bit silly as most people will just use a different app. ### 1/5 — Used to be great :( *2025-10-28, version 2.4.9* I hate starting out this review as completely negative but as someone who used it before and really enjoyed that app seeing so many features locked behind pay walls such as estimates or second jobs it’s quite a far-fetch on what used to be a wonderful app. I wish I could use the app the way it was, and I know the developers have to put some form of paywall on it due to finances and having to keep it running but, it’s just disappointing that they have to do this. ### 1/5 — Setting up the app *2025-10-20, version 2.4.9* Wouldn't let me get passed the stage of setting up the account at all ### 1/5 — paywall for all actual useful features *2025-10-14* I first started using this app around when it first came out, it was brilliant. however, i've now again come into a job where something like this is helpful to keep track of my budgets, shift, hours worked and estimated pay, so redownloaded. everything useful is now behind a paywall. I see multiple people saying this and the app developers listing what is still free, which is mildly irritating, as yes you can set what day you're going to get paid and add your shifts, however for 99.9% of companies payday doesn't include every single shift from the last payday up until the current payday- so the tracking hours and earnings being free is meaningless as it doesn't accurately tell you how many hours or how much you should have earned in the pay period. **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback - in the calendar you can use a custom view to see your exact pay period and we're working on unlocking some features for free users. We'd appreciate you getting in touch on whatsapp so we can see how best to make the app work for you ### 1/5 — Can’t upload payslip *2025-09-01, version 2.4.7* Begrudgingly paid for the premium version of the app in order to receive an estimate of my payslip - but a couple months in a row now it has been wrong. It also won’t let me input my updated total earnings TD, despite it asking for me to so it can accurately estimate my next payslip. It asks for me to input new figures for tax and earnings each month to better estimate my earnings - but lacks any button for me to do so. The UI in some cases is also pretty shocking… ### 1/5 — cant log in *2025-08-29, version 2.4.7* Won’t even let me make an account, needs to send a ‘pin’ to my number but no pin has come through- tried more than ten times ### 1/5 — used to be great now I can’t even use *2025-05-21, version 2.4.3* This app used to be great, especially if you were on a zero contact hour. However now, unless you want to pay a monthly subscription all you can do is manually log your hours. You can’t even change how much your wage is unless you pay for the app. As someone who’s had the app since it came out it’s really sad to see how this app is now unusable. As a locum VCA, it’s honestly been such a game changer for staying organised and knowing exactly what I’m earning. And I recommended it to literally everyone who all started using it too, but then we had to pay….. 👎🏽 ### 5/5 — Fantastic App!! *2025-05-03* WAC is fantastic at tracking shifts and calculating your pay!It feels like a breeze. You can input your rota directly into the app, you input the wage, and WAC does the rest for you. It’s fantastic, I use it everyday. Even after switching to being a premium service, it’s still so affordable and I would much rather be able to just pay the fee than having to calculate how much I should be getting at the end of the month. Now it’s just a quick glance. One piece of feedback I would have is I’d love more advanced “Overtime Rules” I get paid by the hour for Overtime and a lot of the time it’s irregular overtime so my pay is not 100% correct. I’d love to adjust and customise a shift to be able to input into the app how many hours I’ve done, the time stamps of the overtime, and most importantly, the rate.
