It seems very old fashioned with how it’s designed but it still functions well with minimal problems. I did have a glitch occur where I had no animals rummaging but it still said I had the max amount going. I think it may be because they died while they were rummaging but I still can’t get them to do it anymore. I want the genes. I want the little alleles numbers and I love that this game has that! I see from dev responses they are working to improve the game visually. I’m excited! Atm, it’s cute simple art, but definitely comes off as “WIP” but that’s because- it is. BUG: The discord link in game was posted as a temporary invite I believe, and is expired. Look into getting a permanent link from that discord and insert into that button so people who are interested can come support the game’s community! I cannot wait to see what this game becomes! Sadly this game doesn’t have a discord server and the layout of the game doesn’t look modern. The solid color background and simple graphics when you switch between the store to anything else is very…old school looking. It makes me think the developer is simply testing whether others would like this type of game or not. Yes, there are at least 5,000 people out there that would LOVE this game (if it were discoverable or collaborated with the 3 top online games of this genre which everyone *cough* Lioden *cough*). I am obsessed with genetics and came across this wonder! However, there definitely needs to be a better guide. The guide barely works in my phone, some pages I cannot click to progress through the text. I also currently have no idea how to get more coins. It will not let me purchase any (I go into the coin shop, and when you click the coins, no matter the amount, just nothing pops up! The page stays the same and there is no option.) and I have yet to be told in the guide how to get more! 😵‍💫 ### 4/5 — Interesting, but better guide to start off. *2024-01-05, version 1.8* I'm in love with the simple UI and visuals, and the genetics are, to my knowledge, pretty on point! I'd like a better guide to the game itself, explaining more into some of the mechanics than just the animals and such. A shame ### 1/5 — Wish this worked *2024-07-10, version 2.1.12* I didn't even get to play the game because of a screen sizing issue, so I deleted it and re-installed it but it still didn't work. Because of this I couldn't go to anything other than the eggs and auction house. ### 1/5 — Amateur *2023-12-21, version 1.8* Bare-bones content, UI looks like it's from the early 90's, incompetent artwork, and the whole thing is riddled with spelling errors. Species concepts and descriptions are insultingly childish, but genotypes are represented with realistic abbreviations that few children would understand or enjoy. The fantastic creatures are simplistic two-species hybrids of real animals premade by the dev(s). You cannot mix them or change their appearance in any meaningful way to create your own. ### 2/5 — I LOVE THE GAME SOOO MUCH! At least while the old layout was outdated, it had charm and effort compared to the cheap out ai art. Speaking of art, what happened to the cute animals? Now they’re nothing but shapes! I’d prefer a stagnant, cute art than to have the animations. Please release older versions and the nice art. ### 2/5 — Crashing *2025-10-19, version 2.5.0* I’m not sure if it’s my own device but every time I try and play it crashes it seems like an amazing game I just wish I could actually play it ### 2/5 — I want to play this game so bad! *2024-09-29, version 2.1.16* But on my iPhone the bottom five buttons that are supposed to be there are cut off from the screen, making it pretty unplayable since I can’t get to the store, my animals, or really anything. :( I do have an older iPhone (SE) so that might be why. ### 2/5 — It crashes when I click on some animals *2023-07-16, version 1.7* The game is kinda fun but when I try to click on some of my animals I want to breed it just crashes and i also don’t really know how to get a lot of money ### 4/5 — Opinion on the Redesign 12/11/25 *2025-12-11, version 2.6.0* I love this game, and have loved it since the first second I played it. I’ll probably never delete it off my phone because I really do enjoy this developers idea. I was surprised by the redesign, and the colorful loading screen/backgrounds made me smile. I laughed really hard at the deer design, it seems the animals are in a very rudimentary geometric design now. I can’t wait to see how this unfolds. I really only have two concerns. One of them being that the loading screen looks nothing like the models and I don’t support AI image generating models. I wouldn’t boycott this dev over it because of how much effort they’ve put in the game, makes this point kind of moot, but it unsettles me and I implore to steer as far away from image generation ai models as much as possible for the sake of art. Let alone how detrimental ai is to the environment, but I digress. My only other concern is that my game keeps crashing now that I have over 5 animals I can’t check on them at all! ### 4/5 — Solid Game *2025-11-06, version 2.5.0* Very nice genetics game, really the only one quite like this iv found. I put in numbers in the 3 rows that pop up but it won’t let me submit it or anything. ## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Hidden gem *2026-01-14, version 2.6.6* I stumbled into this game and while the gameplay is very “text based” and there aren’t really graphics to speak of, the concept is very fun. I love genetics and breeding games. This has a complex breeding system with discoverable traits. You care for you creatures, enter them into contests, and unlock achievements. There is a Discord server where devs listen and respond promptly. I proposed a suggestion to the game and within 2 days, the change was made and inplemented into an update in the app store. I love to support small games that have dedicated devs. Keep up the good work! ### 5/5 — Cool game but one issue *2025-05-23, version 2.2.0* The only thing I don't like about this game is that when I try to feed most of my adult animals it calls them children and tells me to feed super food which I ran out of. The only thing I'd add to this game is the ability to turn off the tutorial so we could have a bit of free will when it comes to the animals. It's a very good game though and I'd recommend it to everyone who also loves genetic breeding games! ### 5/5 — A Favorite! *2024-05-04, version 2.1.6* This game is one of my absolute favorites, but there definitely need to be more species of animals. Here’s some ideas to add possibly: maybe genetic mutations to how they look other than colors and patterns? Like, variants to deerog antlers, different mane types for Miouses, different Lizard types for Bearzards, different wing types/fur types for Owlats, etc. we should also be able to sell our animals to an npc to get more money, along with the auction. ### 5/5 — Me and my fiance love it *2024-04-21* This is exactly the kind of game I’ve wanted my whole life!
