But needs a few tweaks. *2023-11-21, version 1.1* Great game! But needs a few tweaks. 1. You should be able to upgrade things like starting castle health between games. There is no progression between games - this is essential for a rogue like. 2. There should be a speed up feature. The game gets a bit stale after a while. 3. The further you go in the game the more coins you have to upgrade things in between the next one. You can keep the current game style as a “who can get the highest score” but create that separate game mode for progression. This game is very bare bones, and every retry feels the same with different strategic approaches not really feeling possible. This is closer to a roguelite, but even then it still isn’t a good roguelite. For a game thats existed this long in this genre it identifies with to still have almost nothing is sad. ### 1/5 — NFT-centered garbage. *2023-09-23, version 1.0* AVOID. ### 3/5 — Amazing but more features *2024-04-01, version 1.1* This game is definitely one of my favourites but with a few downsides. First it’s rogue-like is amazing but there is not enough variety, try adding some new perks. Second, it is very repetitive, maybe add some buttons where you can level up your castle or design it, giving it different buffs depending on the skin ### 3/5 — It’s good *2024-01-27, version 1.1* It’s good but it would be better if you could upgrade things in a menu ### 3/5 — Almost good *2023-11-28, version 1.1* While the rest of the game is perfectly fine half of the upgrades and abilities will only say part of what they actually do as well as some just don’t tell you the chances of their abilities happening if it’s a card that says something like candies can knock out enemies in one hit. For both complaints just adding the ability to flip the card around and the rest of the information being on the back or something similar would be incredibly helpful because some cards have downsides you have to consider before taking them or else your run is ruined or at the least too much of a hassle to want to continue ### 3/5 — good but needs more *2023-11-13, version 1.1* the game is great, as a base. I love roguelikes and i can see that this has a great foundation for one but i feel like there needs to be more evolution particularly in the hero are, i feel like the seperate heroes should have different perks and downsides, maybe starting with certain items already or having different projectiles. another change i would love to see is more info on the perks so i know exactly what i’m choosing. besides that a very charming little roguelike with a nice art style a little rough round the edges but a lovely little game. ### 3/5 — Good base, lacks in replayability, no updates or roadmap. *2023-11-10, version 1.1* Good and addicting base for a game, but there's been no updates, no road map, no further information. You can exhaust every possible strategy in just a few hours of game play. Skins add no benefit. Some characters are the same as another with one minor change, while others aren't worth picking at all, along with some of the upgrade choices. As some legendaries are essentialy downgrades if you choose them. Difficulty per level scales to quickly compared to the amount of upgrades you can choose. Their Discord also links to an NFT group, not a game developer or any information regarding it. ### 3/5 — Good game but not much substance to it. *2023-10-28, version 1.1* Really fun and addicting game with so much potential but just getting a high score or skins is not enough to keep players playing. I came across this game and I must say that it has TREMENDOUS Potential. While it’s great to restart from scratch after losing, adding a “permanent upgrades” section or playable option is highly worth considering. If you need help promoting/advertising this game, I suggest you add an Instagram page as well. It is so much fun and it is very cute. A few notes tho. 1 the heroes are all the same. It would be more fun if you had different types of hero’s with different starting abilities. Besides that some of the upgrades feel the same. Like miner and the one where you get tokens for defeats. And also chiller and water gun guy really boils down to the same thing, water.
