### 5/5 — best social app

*2025-02-26, version 0.1.65*

when my friend first shared this app with me, I was skeptical — there’s so many social apps out there (snap, ig, fb, TikTok), but this is the first app I’ve used that my friends & I regularly use. it’s the best way for us to consistently keep in contact, especially as we’re in different parts of the country, & I genuinely feel closer with them as a result

### 5/5 — Favorite Part of the Week

*2025-02-26, version 0.1.65*

Such an easy and light-hearted way to update your friends on the high and low lights in your life while getting to hear theirs.

### 5/5 — Great tool to connected to your college kids

*2025-02-26, version 0.1.65*

I recommend any college parents to start using Wafflr. It is a great platform to help busy families stay connected. Very easy to use especially like us, parents who are not tech savvy and our kids who are away at college or living far from home. I like it because It seems to focus on providing a more intimate and personal way to share updates, rather than relying on mainstream social media.

### 5/5 — Little things that make life fun.

*2025-02-26, version 0.1.65*

I just created a group chat with my son, daughter, and wife and I can’t wait to start this new tradition of sending weekly waffles!! As my children have all grown up, we don’t get to see them too often. My daughter is even in another timezone. I feel like the wafflr will be a good way to talk about the small things that made our week, which we may fail to mention in a call or FT!

### 5/5 — Super cool - Could see this being the next BeReal

*2025-02-25, version 0.1.6*

My friend told me to download this app and turns out it’s such a fun way to keep in touch with people you don’t see often. It would be cool if they added a feature where you could add clips from different parts of your week. Overall, it’s a great way to interact with your friends and not spend a bunch of time on social media. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Bringing KITs to life everywhere

*2025-02-20, version 0.1.5*

Great way to stay in touch w your buddies once you all separate. Would recommend as a graduating college senior and graduated high school student with friend groups in different places.

### 5/5 — Excellent for keeping touch

*2025-02-10, version 0.1.4*

I always knew college wouldn’t last forever, but I didn’t expect it to feel so lonely once my friends started graduating. One by one, they left—some for jobs across the country, others for grad school, and a few just got caught up in life. I was still here, walking the same campus, eating at the same places, but everything felt different without them.

We all promised to keep in touch. At first, the group chat was buzzing with updates—new apartments, funny work stories, the occasional “I miss college” rant. But as weeks turned to months, the messages slowed down. Calls became harder to schedule, texts went unanswered for days, and I started to wonder if this was just how things went.

Then, one day, I found Wafflr.

It seemed simple enough—film a two-minute update on your life, post it to your stack (our private friend group), and watch everyone else’s updates whenever you had time. No pressure to be perfect, no waiting for replies, just life as it was, in small, unfiltered moments.

At first, it was just me, awkwardly filming short clips about random things—my morning coffee, a funny thing I overheard on campus, the mess I made trying to cook dinner. I didn’t expect much, but before I knew it, Wafflr had brought us back together.

The group chat might’ve gone silent, but our stack was alive. Every day, I got to see little pieces of my friends’ lives—nothing fancy, just raw, everyday moments that made them feel close again. We started responding with reaction clips, inside jokes layered on top of old ones, and suddenly, it was like we had our own little time capsule, growing day by day.

One night, I got a Waffle from Arne: “Guys, I miss you all. Reunion this summer?”

The replies came in fast—smiling faces, cheers, countdowns. And just like that, our first post-college trip was in the works.

College had ended, but thanks to Wafflr, our friendship hadn’t. We weren’t just keeping in touch—we were still living our lives together, one two-minute update at a time.

### 5/5 — Good app

Great concept for keeping in touch with long distance friends. Dev team rolls out updates consistently. Highly recommend wafflr

### 5/5 — This SAVED my friendships

*2025-02-08, version 0.1.4*

I have so many friends from home that I care so much about, but all of us are spread around the country in different time zones and it’s so hard to keep in regular contact. Texts just don’t scratch the itch and I am sick of the curated perfectionism of social media. We started doing these weekly two minute videos a couple months ago and we’ve honestly never felt closer. It’s so easy to do each week and it not only maintains friendships but helps deepen them in the simplest way possible. I have my entire circle on it now!!!

### 5/5 — Awesome way to stay connected

*2025-02-08, version 0.1.4*

I found myself struggling to keep in touch with some friends once I went off to college, besides sporadic texts in group chats. But this app completely changed that! It’s super easy to use and perfectly regimented to incentivize catching up with people regularly, but not in a way that feels like a chore. You can be very creative and have fun with your weekly videos. Getting to see how my friends spend their weeks and hear them share their emotions so I can check in if need be has been so invaluable. And none of it would be possible without Wafflr.

### 5/5 — Such a lifesaver to help keep in touch

*2025-02-07, version 0.1.4*

I can’t stress how amazing this app and concept is. Have been graduated from high school for almost 4 years now and keeping in touch with all my friends has always been a struggle. Sometimes the group chat is lively but sometimes we got weeks or months without anything. The weekly 2 minute updates have been a great a way for all of us to keep in touch and stay updated with everything going on in each others lives.

### 5/5 — MUST DOWNLOAD!!

*2025-02-07*

I was skeptical at first while joining my first stack on here, but the interface was easy to use. Just being able to see all my friends from different colleges telling me how they are doing on weekly basis is a GAME CHANGER!

### 5/5 — Staying connected

*2025-02-06, version 0.1.4*

don’t really use social media too much, but this app allows me to reconnect with friends n family easily! Love the ability to send diff videos to diff stacks, perfect outlet for me to stay up to date on everyone’s lives in a meaningful way!!

### 5/5 — Wafflr as a College Student

*2025-02-06, version 0.1.4*

I am a student at USC and with classes and other time commitments, it’s hard to keep up with all of my friend’s weeks, new life updates (jobs interviews, new date), intramural sports games, etc. Through Wafflr, I was able to catch up with all of my friends within minutes and hear about their weeks. Wafflr changed my life; I have felt a new spark in my friendships since downloading this app.

### 4/5 — Love it- but also have a question

*2025-03-11, version 0.1.65*

I am loving this app so far! However, I am confused about the number of stacks it is allowing me. I currently have 3, and when I go to add more, it says free subscribers only have access to 3 stacks, and that to have more I need to upgrade to premium. And hey, that’s fine. The problem is, I can’t find literally anywhere to upgrade, much less anything that mentions premium vs free. It doesn’t say that anywhere in the app. So I’m confused and am requesting help please!!

Such a cool app!! It’s so user friendly and easy to navigate. The idea is really cool and a great way to stay in touch with long distance friends especially if you’re in college. It’s nice cause you keep up with their life even if you can’t talk that often. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Great Product/idea

*2025-02-28, version 0.1.65*

### 5/5 — Great Social App

*2025-02-27, version 0.1.65*

It’s a personal app to connect with friends states away and such a great midweek pickup. I’m in my last year at UCLA and am scared of feeling disconnected with my friends after college. I find Wafflr to be a great app for me to keep up with my inner circle of friends and get a glimpse of their week! 2 minute videos of updates feels like I’m on FaceTime with them and topping the waffl off with a few pictures lets me see moments of their lives I wouldn’t have seen otherwise. The weekly notification in a way forces everyone in our friend group to post a life update and it’s a great reminder to reach out to loved ones. Highly recommend!!

### 5/5 — Pretty cool

*2025-02-27, version 0.1.65*

My friends and I got the app to keep in touch during our busy weeks and have a little fun while we’re at it. I prefer to post funny videos of me dancing, while my other friends like to “waffle” about their latest drama. It’s cool that the developers added the front and back cameras and the ability to upload photos with your Waffle.
