## What is Waggle?

Waggle is the family allowance app that pays kids in promises, not payments. Parents create activities, kids check them off, and every payday the kids themselves split their earnings across three honeycomb jars - Checking, Savings, and Giving.

No bank account. No debit card. No real money in the app, ever. Waggle is a shared family ledger of promises between you and your kids, so the money lessons are real even though the money stays in your pocket.

Waggle runs full-size on iPad. Every screen is laid out for the bigger display, so the family tablet on the kitchen counter finally looks like it belongs there.

Face ID sign-in - unlock Waggle with a look instead of a password, and put parent mode behind it so a curious kid can't quietly adjust their own balance.

Family device lock - step-by-step setup for Guided Access, plus a badge in kid mode that tells you the device really is locked before you hand it over.

Honey Drops - reward something outside the weekly chores. "Grab that and you've earned two drops." You grant them, or your kid claims them and you give the OK.

Also fixed: a problem where the app could install but not open on older iPhones, and the "Can't reach the hive" screen now retries on its own instead of asking you to close and reopen.

Fixes, mostly — the kind you notice.

• Notifications now actually arrive. Chore check-ins and payday alerts could never reach your phone before this release; they work now.
• Kid mode has its sounds back — the honey-drop plink and the payday cheer were silent on iPhone. (Your phone's silent switch still mutes them; Settings now says so.)
• Unlock with Face ID works when leaving kid mode, and asks once, not twice.
• Tabs answer the moment you tap them, and switching between kids no longer feels stuck.
• You can add money to a child whose Checking is negative. Paying down what was owed used to be refused as if it were new borrowing.
• Adjustments go both ways now — add or subtract, with a note either way, and an option to take Checking below zero without a borrowing fee.
• Chores a child claimed but you never approved no longer get stranded when the week closes, and the approval badge counts only what you can act on.
• If something does go wrong, there's now a way back instead of a blank technical screen.
