### 3/5 — App needs fixing

*2026-03-28*

Home page is blank and shows nothing. Same deal with the history beta tab in the progress page. Products is good but app needs work.

### 3/5 — No Translation

*2026-02-09*

When it would be possible, for 17€ per month, to get proper human translated App, and not this horrible AI-Translation? And also much better Plans with proper working Fitness-State, which know, if Overtrained, to give a session at max FTP, may be not the best idea?

### 2/5 — Billed after cancellation

*2026-01-08, version 7.100.2*

After the price increased last fall I did not see value and canceled my subscription. My cancellation request was not honored / processed and I was bill $180 for an annual subscription 2 months later. Customer service has been difficult to reach to resolve the issue. The app was previously good but kept increasing the price without adding additional value .

### 2/5 — Fitbit sync plz

*2025-12-13, version 7.100.2*

Why does this app not sync with Fitbit but the original does? The original seems to try and push you to this when you go to do a workout.

### 2/5 — Pas compatible vélo Domyos

*2025-11-07*

L’appli a l’air pas mal mais malheureusement elle ne change pas la difficulté automatiquement sur un Domyos EB900B comme peut le faire l’appli Kinomap donc du coup l’appli n’a pas grand intérêt si l’on doit changer soit même la résistance.

### 3/5 — Langue

*2025-11-07*

A quand une version française ?

### 2/5 — Doesn’t run on Apple TV

*2025-10-11, version 7.98.2*

Like many cyclists I have a dedicated indoor setup for zwift. Trainer bike, floor mat, table etc. this all sits in front of a large screen tv and Apple TV. What’s confusing is wahoo makes most of the gear for these setups yet this app doesn’t even run on the most common platform. Removed 3 stars and likely will not extend the trial.

### 2/5 — Frustrating App

*2025-10-08, version 7.98.2*

Love the work outs- most engaging AI workouts I’ve used so far…. Only 2 stars because I have to delete and reinstall every couple of days- very frustrating when on a tight schedule. Support not sorted it yet despite being aware of situation AND still paying full price for subscription. Anyone recommend a similar app that’s reliable?

### 3/5 — Très bonne application

*2025-09-18*

5 étoiles si l’application pouvait être utilisable en français

### 2/5 — Buggy

*2025-05-12, version 7.94.1*

Every one of the video workouts bugged out and stopped playing halfway through. This didn’t bother me much because I didn’t need the workout videos as entertainment. However the entire workout bugged out and crashed in the 4DP test, ruining the assessment.

### 1/5 — Lost access to libraries

*2025-04-29, version 7.94.1*

I can’t open any of the rides in the library in system. It bugs out and I have to go to the wahoo app and ride manually. It shows like 20 rides in workouts.

What did you do? Why jack it all up?

### 1/5 — Crashes constantly

*2025-04-18, version 7.94.1*

Good content, however you can’t actually use it. App constantly crashes. Doesn’t matter if it’s a cycling video, yoga or strength training. None of them work.

### 3/5 — Now doesn’t work

*2025-04-06, version 7.94.1*

Since updates to yoga videos none of them work. Now crashes consistently.

### 1/5 — Access to site

*2025-02-26, version 7.93.1*

I have an account, but can’t seem to get access to. All I want is to ride (Sufferfest) videos, don’t want any plans!

### 3/5 — Buggy

*2025-02-17, version 7.93.1*

I frequently have to force quit the app to be able to make selections in the menu. I have also had to delete the app and reinstall it several times as it would complain that the database was corrupted and could not be rebuilt.

### 2/5 — Very limited and finicky

*2025-02-14, version 7.93.1*

&tldr: The workouts don’t all work correctly, and the training plans have limited flexibility.
Some workouts are longer than advertised; one finished half way through, and wouldn’t restart.
It also doesn’t allow much personal schedule tailoring, in terms of length of individual days, or which days have what type of workout.
It also seems to have a rather limited numbers of actual workouts.

### 4/5 — Love it so far, a couple things could make it amazing

*2025-02-09*

Male, age 42. Experienced athlete. I’m using it to prepare for a 70.3 triathlon. So far I really like the detailed swim and run workouts and the ability to add in yoga and strength training. I’ve always struggled to integrate it all together and this app does a great job. For comparison, I used TrainerRoad to prep for a race a couple years ago. It was great for the bike but the run and swim options were a little too simple and not enough. It also did not have any way to add yoga and strength so I never quite figured out a sustainable process.

I usually watch shows on TV, but it is nice to have the option to watch the cycling videos.

Things to improve:
I’d like the ability to build vacations or other days off into the schedule instead of manually adjusting or skipping.

Some of the workouts appear on the schedule but can’t be accessed yet. Fortunately it’s easy to find a substitute in the extensive library.

It would be nice to have suggested alternatives to the scheduled workout. For example: an option if feeling tired or time crunched would make it a little simpler.

I think this works really well if aiming for 1 event. It’s a little less obvious how it will work if I am targeting multiple events, something the TrainerRoad scheduler was good at.

Overall I am very pleased and will continue to use it as I prepare!

### 1/5 — Buggy & Unusable

*2025-01-25, version 7.93.1*

This isn’t my first rodeo with trainer/app pairings but it is the most disappointing since 1st or second gen. The app is buggy, the idea that you can stream their meh videos is a pure lie and even downloading (onto a 10th gen iPad) doesn’t get you clear of the app.

It repeatedly fails to play the downloaded video - ride starts, metrics register…no video. If I wanted that experience I don’t need your app.

It repeatedly tells me I need to subscribe. I have. You have my money. The app “finds the receipts” eventually but that is a bug.

Video quality even on download looks 720.

Love the Sufferfest merger…too bad for them because you gave them bugs.

Total fail for people who don’t have an hour to troubleshoot before their ride. Would NOT recommend. Choose one of a half dozen other options.

### 1/5 — Unreliable syncing

*2025-01-24*

I normally don’t review apps, but this has been particularly challenging. I have SYSTM linked to 3P apps, and after having used SYSTM for one month, approximately 25% of my workouts will fail to sync within the SYSTM app (only shows in “calendar view” a completed workout but does not everywhere else), nor does it ever send properly to 3P apps.

Every time this happens, I have to file a support ticket and SYSTM claims a “short cloud outage” was the cause of the workouts not syncing.

Given this has happened 4 times to me in 30 days, SYSTM should consider auto re-sync for its users and improvement of their “cloud infrastructure”. As an engineer myself this is a vastly subpar integration experience that seems very fixable.

### 1/5 — Non-Cycling Videos Unusable

*2025-01-03, version 7.93.1*

When trying to do yoga or strength workouts, the videos constantly buffer making them unusable. This is not a wifi issue, it is something that their support admitted happens. Downloading the videos also does not help, as they play at 5x speed by themselves. The fact that this issue hasn’t been fixed for months now is ridiculous

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Promising but lots of annoyances

*2026-07-29, version 7.108.0*

Apple health can write but not read. Workout schedule plans are inflexible to the point of useless. Why can’t I pick the days I’m available? Why can’t it put three days of illness and the plan adjusts? Why can’t edit/move multiple things at once?

Workouts are very low video quality. Can’t remove time at bottom of the screen. Can’t pause using Apple Watch… I hit pause and it just briefly pauses and then continues because there’s zero integration. No Apple TV support.

App feels like an amateur programmer made it using web app vibe coding and not a $15 a month subscription.

Also it doesn’t import workouts from other apps correctly for extended workouts. It just flat out cuts of the last lap of extended time.

### 1/5 — App does not launch. Customer support is horrific

*2026-02-13, version v7.103.0*

Just like it says on the tin. The app has never worked despite my device meeting specs. Beware if you ever need support, this has been the worst customer service experience of my life. They are completely incapable of responding in any reasonable timeframe.

### 1/5 — Does not open

*2025-10-29, version 7.98.2*

Newest update starts and never gets pasted the wahoo screen. I have tried it on my iPad and iPhone, neither are working.

### 1/5 — Update broke app

*2025-10-24, version 7.100.2*

Yes- as reported. App won’t work on IPad - particularly galling as the price went up at the same time. Obviously this is something Wahoo have not dealt with.
Been using this and the old Sufferfest for years. Seems the bean counters of got in and are squeezing for more profit - price goes up/ content down. I’m off .

### 1/5 — Absolute trash

*2025-10-19, version 7.98.2*

This is the worst app I’ve used yet with my Kickr core 2. In the ramp test, it keeps my power at 90w regardless of my work or cadence, take it off erg mode and the controls do nothing, I modify the incline manually, it jumps from 90 watts to 285 when I’m supposed to keep a heart rate between 153-158. During the 20 minute black hole session with 1 minute remaining a drop of sweat teleported me back to the beginning of the ramp test. It reset my whole workout after 58 minutes struggling to get my basic fitness test. The interface locks me from actually closing the keyboard during several operations requiring me to force close the app and restart.

### 1/5 — They are getting rid of all the old sufferfest videos

*2025-10-15, version 7.98.2*

Wahoo are too tight to pay for the race video footage. They’re replacing all the workouts with boring documentaries

### 1/5 — Update broke app

*2025-10-06, version 7.98.2*

Doesn’t work anymore on my iPad, app just stuck on initial splash screen, bit of joke when they’ve just put the subscription cost up again for no new sufferfest content

### 1/5 — Dead since last update

*2025-08-27, version 7.98.2*

Doesn’t open since latest update a few days ago. Shows wahoo logo and then hangs. Tried restarting iPad, no help. Android version still works.

### 1/5 — Never works

*2025-07-31, version 7.96.0*

Hopeless software

### 1/5 — Not a good start

*2025-05-16, version 7.94.1*

Not a good start I did one workout and that worked fine so started another and that wouldn’t work until I closed the app down and rebooted but my heart monitor didn’t work.
Tried a yoga and strength training later and they didn’t work either.
Luckily I’m on the first day of a free trial so very unlikely to subscribe.
A real shame because I wanted to like it after enjoying sufferfest in the past before Wahoo took over.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Exceptional

*2024-11-21*

I’ve been a user ever since this app was released. I bought it for the cycling workouts and training plans which are great. However, the hidden gem of the app for me is the strength training, mobility, and yoga library of workouts. I’m in my 50s and have accumulated more than my share of injuries over the years (bike crashes, martial arts, knee problems from running). The library of workouts has mitigated the pain, strength, and flexibility impacts of those injuries down to a level I didn’t think was possible. The library doesn’t have CARs exercises specifically (which help with mobility) but I’ve found that I can adapt a number of the movements to make them effective CARs workouts. It sounds melodramatic but in some respects I actually feel 20+ years younger thanks to the app.

The app isn’t perfect, the video playback is buggy as is the calendar. However, the software is regularly updated so I assume/hope they will eventually get around to fixing/modernizing those functions.

### 5/5 — Easy way to main endurance and fitness

*2024-09-29*

All rounder

### 5/5 — Really good training and great improvements

*2024-02-04*

Thought I should try a training plan and have been using SYSTM for the last 3-4months. Over that time I have improved my FTP by almost 50w and each session is engaging as well as being able to work around you.

### 5/5 — Good sessions, still prefer the Sufferfest ones so it’s good to see them living on!

*2024-01-08, version 7.71.0*

The app is stable and have rarely had issues with it. Sessions are varied but I do prefer the Sufferfest ones. The sessions with Mike Cotty are brilliant.

### 5/5 — Entertaining, great variety of training content - great for starting out

*2024-01-01*

I’m not a pro, racer, of Zwift overlord. I’ve been trying out the various indoor cycling apps, mostly on free trial basis, and I’m one of the few who finds Zwift mostly demotivating - the gamified / SNES feel just doesn’t work for me. Luckily, there are some really good options out there that are different enough to justify using more than one app. I subscribed to SYSTM because what makes it stand out is the variety of the training content - entertaining videos of pros combining training with entertaining tidbits (On Location - great stuff!), to hardcore motivational videos, to just focused workout plans. Add to that the additional workouts for other sports and mental training, which are rounding up this app very nicely. The best part is that a training plan can combine all or none of these, so each session offers something different. Love the possibility to have all this tailored to one’s 4DP training area. What we now need is an ‘on-demand recalculation’ of the training plan, e.g. if I move sessions forward or do more in day, or if I need to sit one out (travel, injury, etc), it would be fantastic if SYSTM recomputes the training plan at the push of a button. A bit of ‘AI’ would be useful here. Big fan so far. Went from KICKR SNAP to CORE in the last 5 years.

### 5/5 — Perfect for me

*2023-11-01*

Best trainings for me, complete with strength and yoga. Got me from 3,2 to 4,1 watts/kg in 2 years, at over 50. And its fun!

### 5/5 — It’s ok

*2023-09-13*

Having come from Zwift to this platform over a year ago if I’m honest I will be going back to Zwift. Some of the training sessions are really good but once you’ve seen the films and done that session a few times it becomes pretty tedious and boring. Also some of the films I just haven’t found that interesting.
The Wahoo RGT just does not compare with the range of courses on Zwift. Unfortunately they are not long or varied enough in my opinion.
Once my subscription ends I won’t be renewing.
It’s good to have for a year as there are some very good sessions on here but they get old quick.

### 5/5 — Great training on and off the bike

*2023-04-18, version 7.59.0*

Favourite is the On Location workouts followed by the Pro Rides. Something for everyone from really pushing it to taking it easy.

I enjoy the strength and mobility routines and easy to keep on top of doing them as I can pop them into the calendar with my planned rides.

Video streaming and quality has been flawless - no need to download even for the longer rides.

### 5/5 — Goes from strength to strength

*2023-03-12*

I’m not into video games so Zwift has never been something I have ever enjoyed. I want something that gets me fit and makes me work hard. I have limited time, especially during the week so every minute has to count. Sufferfest, now Wahoo has never disappointed. I started with the original Sufferfest videos in fact way before the app came along. The training plans are now absolutely superb and focus on YOUR strengths and weaknesses based on the 4 Dimensional Power Test. Their training plans are therefore NOT multi vitamin plans designed for anyone and everyone. I tend to do 2 12 week plans over the autumn and winter and now spring is here and I am hitting the roads every weekend, I am on fire! Yesterday all my riding buddies commented on how I attacked every little numb and climb. This really works. And if you do like video games, it also includes RGT which I have tried on rides I know reasonably well and I found it reasonably enjoyable! Do it. You won’t regret it.

### 5/5 — Needs reminders and native calendar integration

*2023-03-04, version 7.57.0*

Awesome app, does what it is supposed to do, intuitive UI.

One thing I’d like to see is the ability to send reminders like “hey lazy chump, you scheduled a workout for today so remember to get to it in 30 minutes”. Or maybe integrate the SYSTM calendar with the default iOS calendar so I can have widgets!
