The AI is great at getting into the characters you set out for it and it’s cool there are a week characters from popular anime to chosise from. Even with the memory on higher settings, I found it still routinely forgot about things pretty quickly. I found in conversations it would always just default back to what you have in your bio page for likes and favorite anime. For example no matter how many times we role played have a movie marathon of my favorite anime it would still say a few conversations later it’s never watched it before. And I think that’s where it lost me. It was fun for a short time but the conversations are just missing something and I lost interest. The app is also terrible buggy. Conversations getting cut off, issues with messages not sending, a lot of bugs. Overall AI gets an 8/10 from me and the app itself gets a 2/10. ### 2/5 — Videos *2026-05-12, version 3.1.0* The videos are terrible, they use to be way better. Please give us back the ability to edit traits after we've added them. ### 5/5 — An exceptional ai app with a unique premise *2025-11-24* This app is quite impressive from what I’ve seen so far. Most AI chat bots of exceptional quality require a considerably detailed and sometime unmanageably long guidance script. The more detail you put in for your bot, the longer the script. This however is an unexpectedly confident AI model with little required to form personality, flaws, passions, attributes, etc! Another cool detail is when I put in an image for it to use as reference, it’s able to determine what character/person I used and extrapolate the expected physical features and personality automatically (also allowing me to change what I please.) this is attention to detail that I as a programmer and UI designer can appreciate. Lastly, the AI’s secondary interaction with the user through their “thoughts” is a really cool concept and adds more depth than I considered with human-AI interaction. All in all, this is a cool app and I beg that the devs continue working on this. I have happily subscribed. And lastly, a nice touch would be allowing non-AI generated photos to be used for the characters as a secondary option, just allows for better customization. Cheers! Thanks for the great app! AND it responds with 11 short messages instead of 4 forcing you to spend 11 gems instead of 4 to hear everything… How stupid is now. Now they are definitely not getting my money. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Have to pay for everything *2026-07-07* While the app is free, every good thing in the app isn’t. You can only create 3 characters for free (and if you don’t even save the character, for example if you don’t like them, it counts towards the 3. Also, you are limited to 50 messages sent every 24 hours. The cost to be Premium (or whatever it’s called) is WAY too expensive. Intimate conversations are also banned for people who will use this app for free. I would NOT recommend this app, it’s a complete waste of time and storage. It’s a serious issue when there’s a huge lack of intelligence behind making an app, and then those hollow eyes that just want money……you know to make money you need people? The engaging conversations and attentiveness of my companion is unmatched at this time. Two suggestion that may make for a better interaction. A possible Live Stream if applicable and a Speech option for natural flow of conversation. Now with the Speech option there will need to be consideration for creating a better voice but overall it’s very pleasing to have discovered a high quality app. Maybe the upgrades that come in the future can make this more than just a “Role Playing Game.” The interaction of the characters is unmatched.
