## What is WainPay?

Know what you can spend today, and what people still owe you.

WainPay holds both ends in one app that runs on your device: your expenses and fixed commitments on one side, your client invoices on the other.

The number that settles your day
Your income, minus rent and installments and subscriptions, minus what you've spent this month. What's left is what you're free to spend, as one number on the first screen. Under it, a bar tells you whether you're spending faster than the month is passing, or slower.

Invoices you send, not notes you keep
Write the line items, the tax, the discount, and watch the total move. It comes out as a PDF carrying your logo, your name, your IBAN and your tax number, shared straight from your phone. The client book remembers anyone you've invoiced once, so you never type their details twice.

And know what's outstanding
The invoices tab carries a single number: what your clients still owe you. Overdue sits on top, because it's the only line that asks anything of you. Paid drops below. When an invoice is paid, the app asks whether to log it as income - anyone who keeps work money separate says no, and that's their call.

Every commitment in one row
Rent, the car installment, the electricity bill, the monthly subscription. The app knows when each one falls due, logs its expense on the day without being opened, and reminds you before the money leaves rather than after.

Numbers that say something
This month beside last, where the spending leaked by category, and tips drawn from your own data: your priciest commitment, what renews this week, what it costs a year.

Three taps to log a spend
Keypad, category, done. Or photograph the receipt and let the reader inside your device pick up the amount - the photo never leaves the phone.

Your data is yours
No account to create, no server we upload anything to. Everything lives on your device, syncing through your own iCloud if you want it. Export whenever you like: CSV files that open in Excel, not a closed format only this app can read.

Arabic and English
Switch language inside the app without restarting, with Western numerals in both, and over thirty currencies with updated exchange rates.

What's free and what's paid
Expense tracking, commitments, insights and reminders are free with no limit and no counter. Invoicing is free for three complete invoices - issued, shared, paid - then WainPay Pro opens it without a count.

WainPay Pro
Monthly or yearly, and yearly costs less. Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings after purchase.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-09-06

Bank messages log themselves
Create one automation in Shortcuts and every debit message from your bank
lands in your ledger: amount, merchant and category, with no typing. Only
your bank's messages reach the app, and everything stays on your device.

Share any transaction
From any app: select the transaction text, tap Share, choose WainPay.

Available-to-spend widget
On the Home Screen and Lock Screen, with a button that opens the entry pad.

Ask Siri
"Log an expense", "Log income", "How much did I spend this month?",
"How much can I spend?"

A welcome screen
Pick your language and currency from the start, and add your commitments
in a tap.

Automatic merchant categories
Cafés go to Food, utilities to Bills, Youtube to Subscriptions.

Clearer numbers
The ledger says what you spent; the home screen says what's left.
Two questions, two numbers, no contradiction.

Fixed:
• A commitment's charge counts once, even when its bank message arrives.
• Renewal reminders now repeat every cycle instead of arriving only once.
• Every figure shows in your currency, so rows add up to their total.
• Totals convert currencies instead of adding them as they are.
• A shared subscription counts your share, not the full price.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-29

WainPay now does full billing.

• Issue an invoice with running numbers, line items, tax and a discount, then share it as a PDF carrying your logo, your name and your IBAN.
• A client book that remembers anyone you've invoiced once.
• A cover that says what clients still owe you, with overdue on top.
• A paid invoice can enter your ledger as income, if you want it to.
• A full backup that exports CSV files you can open in Excel, and restores as it was.
• Fixed: some English sentences printed Arabic-Indic numerals. Both languages now use Western digits throughout.

### 1.0 — 2026-07-24
