## What is Wait?

Tempted? Shelve it.
Wait is a simple habit app for impulse spending. Instead of buying on impulse — or white-knuckling a "no" — you give every tempting purchase a cooling-off period. Park it on your shelf, wait it out, then decide with a clear head.
Most urges don't survive the wait. When a shelved item expires and you let it go, its price lands in your Freedom Fund — a running total of the money that stayed yours.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Shelve it. The moment something tempts you, add it to your shelf instead of your basket. Name, price, a photo if you like. Ten seconds.
2. Cool off. The item waits out a timer you choose. Wait nudges you when the time is up — no decisions while the urge is hot.
3. Decide. Still want it after the wait? Buy it guilt-free. Don't? Let it go, and its price joins your Freedom Fund.
