I want my default view to always be set to the current month we’re in not the last 30 days but I can’t change it. Would’ve gotten 5 stars if I could but I have to change that every time I open the app. ### 4/5 — Wanted to love *2025-01-07, version 3.10.24* This app is good and has the potential but I don’t like that you cannot put in the time of the shift you worked. You can only put the amount of hours. I like to look back at my shifts every year to see if I worked a morning shift or night shift and how I did to predict how business will be this year. But with this you can only put how long you worked not the time you were scheduled. Downside cause I liked the app but won’t be using. ### 4/5 — Great app, great UI/UX, missing a couple features *2023-11-13* Overall, very good UI/UX. Very intuitive and aesthetically pleasing. One feature that’s very important for me, and that I would like to see the developer add, is the ability to change the first day of the work week. My company’s payroll cycle starts on Saturdays, so I would like to be able to adjust to that in the app. That way, when I’m looking at the “week” view, I have a more accurate understanding of what I’m making in that payroll cycle. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 2/5 — it’s alright. *2025-09-06, version 3.10.38* bought the app when there was no pay wall. suggested it to my whole restaurant. now u can’t do anything without paying. i work as both a server and a bartender and really liked this app bc i could track how well bartending was vs serving that week. now i cant and it all has to go into one category or i have to pay. they bombard u every chance they get to try to have u pay. u watch an ad then hit X then there a grace period and u have to hit X again to get the stats from the day. just annoying ### 2/5 — Horrendous Amount of Ads *2025-06-30, version 3.10.27* Too many ads to do anything ### 2/5 — I liked it until… *2023-04-10, version 3.10.6* I really liked this app until I couldn’t edit a mistake. I was entering info when I didn’t select the correct year and I couldn’t go back and edit or delete the mistake. I would have continued using the app but deleted it. ### 3/5 — Used to be better *2026-08-08, version 3.10.42* I never cared about the premium features before so I didn’t upgrade to pro. The app worked well for what I needed and I didn’t mind the ads. I thought the ads were a fair trade so the developer could make some money. Now the app has updated and they’ve increased the cost and moved some basic features that were previously free to be behind the paywall. This has essentially rendered this app useless to me because I have two jobs. I enter my tips in for each job separately but now I have to pay for that. So it’s a good app if you want to pay a yearly subscription cost. Otherwise look elsewhere. These tip apps are a dime a dozen and they are all basically the same so I’m sure you can find a better one that just has ads. ### 3/5 — Always glitching *2026-06-01, version 3.10.42* Every single time I try and add data on a previous day, it adds it to the current day. It is extremely irritating filling that shift out and then seeing it just add to the current day. Even though I’m clicking on the day I’m trying to put in. Like wtf. ### 3/5 — Good functionality, super-aggressive upgrade prompt and ads *2024-10-12, version 3.10.10* Literally every time I flip back to the app from my calculator or my employers management app, I am prompted again to upgrade. Every time I save a new entry, I get a video ad that takes three or four taps to get through. It’s enough to make me not want to upgrade, even though it’s a very useful app and would probably be worth the annual fee. ### 3/5 — Fehler bei Trinkgeld Eingabe *2023-08-03* Es besteht ein Fehler beim eingeben des Trinkgeldes. Das Komma wird verwendet um Euro von Cent zu trennen. Sobald man aber Trinkgeld mit Cent eingibt, funktioniert es nicht da das Komma verwendet wird. Runde Beträge lassen sich eintragen. Ich schätze da liegt ein Fehler in der Formatierung vor. Wenn ich in einer anderen App 60.36 (der Punkt ist wichtig) schreibe und kopiere, dann wieder bei waiter pal einsetze, funktioniert es. Leider gibt es in der App nicht die Möglichkeit ein Punkt zu schreiben, da die Tastatur auf die Zahlen und das Komma limitiert ist. **Developer response:** Hallo, wir freuen uns, Ihnen mitteilen zu können, dass das Problem im neuesten Update behoben wurde. Could use some work tho… *2025-07-17, version 3.10.33* I am absolutely in love with this app as a first time server, keeping track of how many tips I make every night I work is kinda hard, especially if I have to write it down all the time. But being able to just count them out and put them in the app cause lived that way off of me plus he lets me know how many tips I make altogether in that week which I love because I know my progress. The only thing I can critique about it is putting how many hours and minutes you’ve worked.
