## What is Wake Devils?

Stay in the loop! Message teammates one-on-one or in groups, and sign up (and pay) for boat outings right from your phone.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-26

What's new in 1.1

• Pay Later boats — some outings let you book for free in the app and pay the driver directly. Tap "Pay on Venmo" to open Venmo with the driver and amount filled in, or copy the driver's Zelle email/phone in one tap. Free rides apply to Pre Pay boats only.
• Waitlists fixed — you can join the waitlist on a full boat again, and you'll be moved into a seat automatically when one opens up.
• Live updates — new messages and newly posted boats now appear right away, no need to switch tabs.
• Group chat icons — every group chat gets an icon, and any member can change it to an emoji.
• Instant account updates — changes to your membership or account status show up right away.

For club admins:
• New Members screen to review sign-ups, set their groups and rides, and approve them in one step — with an option to let new sign-ups in automatically.
• Manage everyone's groups right from the Users list.
• Charge a member a fee from Manage Rides; their account unlocks once they pay.
• Boat Log now has Drivers and Riders views.
• Removed and deleted accounts now appear on the Suspended screen, and their email can't sign up again until you clear it.

Bug fixes and improvements.
