## What is WakeUpLa?

You are not lazy. Your brain has not booted yet.

WakeUpLa is an alarm you cannot turn off. It rings, you do a mission, and only then does it stop.

FINISH THE MISSION OR IT KEEPS GOING

Photograph something across the room. Push-ups. Squats. Shake the phone until it gives up. Morning math. Memory flashes. Type a line. Read one out loud. Walk over and scan a barcode. Whichever you pick, the alarm is not going anywhere until it is done.

IT REALLY DOES NOT STOP

Close the app and it rings. Mute the phone and it rings. Restart the phone and it rings. It comes back within ten seconds, and it keeps coming back.

THE SURPRISE CHECK (PRO)

Ten minutes after you turn it off, it asks again. Crawl back into bed and you will hear about it.

IT WILL ROAST YOU

From the first ring to the moment you are upright, it has something to say about you. Want it worse? There is a profanity mode.

PROGRESS YOU CAN SEE

Wake-up streak, how long you struggled each morning, how consistent your wake-up time actually is. Connect Apple Health and it will tell you how much you really slept.

FOUR LANGUAGES

English, Cantonese, Taiwan Mandarin and Simplified Chinese. Switch any time in Settings, no restart needed.

FREE VS WAKEUPLA PRO

Free:
Unlimited alarms, six missions (Photo Hunt with 9 targets, SixSeven, Double Bird, Shake It Awake, Math Class, Flash Memory), anti-cheat backup alarms, all wake-up stats and sleep reports, one freeze card a week.

WakeUpLa Pro:
Push-Ups and Squats counted by the camera, Go Scan It, Read Aloud, Typing Hell, every photo target, mission chains, the surprise wake-up check, extra loud mode, profanity mode, holidays off, two freeze cards a week.

The yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial. If you would rather not subscribe, there is a one-time lifetime purchase.

Subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID and renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel any time in iOS Settings > (your name) > Subscriptions.

Requires iPhone with iOS 26.5 or later, and alarm permission. WakeUpLa rings through Apple AlarmKit and cannot work without it.

The whole app now speaks English. Taiwan Mandarin and Simplified Chinese are here too. The app guesses on first launch; if it guesses wrong, Settings > Preferences > Language fixes it instantly.

Pro costs less, and the yearly plan's free trial is 7 days now instead of 3. Two days before it becomes a paid plan you get one reminder, so the first charge is never a surprise.

Holidays off (Pro) now follows the calendar where you actually live: the United States, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan or mainland China. Pick it under Settings > Preferences > Holiday calendar.

There is a Feedback row in Settings now.

Fixed a crash when deleting an alarm.
