## What is Wakle?

Most alarms only need you to tap a button. Wakle needs you to actually wake up.

Every Wakle alarm ends in a mission — a real task you have to complete before the alarm will stop. Snooze-proof, because there's nothing to snooze: you either do it, or the alarm keeps going.

Missions that check your work

Push-ups — your camera watches your form using on-device pose detection. It's not counting shakes or taps; it's checking that your shoulders actually moved, so you can't fake a rep by waving your arm near the phone.

Photo Match — register a real spot (your bathroom sink, your kitchen counter) once. Every morning, walk there and take the photo again to dismiss the alarm. You have to actually get up and go somewhere.

QR / Barcode Scan — tag something on the other side of the room. To turn off the alarm, you have to walk over and scan it.

Buddy Code — for couples or roommates. The dismiss code is split between two phones. Neither of you can turn off the alarm without waking the other up too.

Wake Selfie — snap a selfie to dismiss your alarm, sent straight to your linked partner as real proof you're up.

Touch Grass — step outside and point your camera at the sky. No sky, no dismissing the alarm.

Plus classic sharp-you-up missions: Math, Memory, Typing, Shake, Missing Symbol, Color Tiles, and Steps — pick whichever mix keeps you honest.

Beyond the alarm

Sleep Mode tracks your ambient noise overnight and gives you a sleep score each morning — no wearable required.

Morning greets you with local weather and the day ahead the moment you're up.

Streaks, Weekly Wrapped, and Reports turn your wake-up history into something worth looking at, not just a number.

Wake Together / Duet Alarms let you and a partner start the day in sync, sharing a streak and morning check-ins.

Eldercare Mode (consent-gated, opt-in on both sides) lets a family member confirm a loved one woke up and dismissed their alarm — without ever seeing anything else.

Wakle Pro unlocks Push-ups, Photo Match, Buddy Code, Wake Selfie, and Touch Grass — the missions that need real-world verification, not just a tap.

Wakle doesn't sell your data or run ads. Camera frames, microphone levels, and motion sensor data are processed on your device and never leave it — see our Privacy Policy for the specifics.

If you've ever turned off an alarm on autopilot and gone straight back to sleep, Wakle is built to make that impossible.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-19

Two brand-new ways to prove you're actually up: Wake Selfie sends your partner a photo the moment you dismiss your alarm, and Touch Grass makes you step outside and point your camera at the sky before it'll let you go.

Push-ups just got smarter — a live skeleton overlay shows exactly what the camera sees while you're doing them, plus adjustable sensitivity if the detection felt too strict or too easy before.

Photo Match no longer needs you to snap and submit a picture — just point your camera at the object and it recognizes it automatically.

Couples features got friendlier names: "Cooperative Code" is now Buddy Code, and the whole partner system is now called Lovebirds.

Plus a bunch of reliability fixes under the hood.
