And being able to see the edge of the two by fours is extremely helpful. ### 5/5 — A real stud finder *2025-02-11, version 2.93* so far the unit cannot see thru the tub surround , there is likely a 1/2 plywood behind so no worries i went on the other side and found them no problem, drill a 3/6 hole right thru the stud to mount shower handles for old people like me it sees thru drywall with no issues, have used it to mount shelf that were mounted in the drywall and of course fell off because the previous peoples could not see the stud and not to mention the electric wires i am using it everyware i need to find a stud i will be getting some velcro (hook and loop) to mount it to my phone,as not to keen on placing a magnet on phone (using with i phone13) i totally love this unit, the confidence it brings ,i have a few stud finders but was always nervous as some times i hit the side of stud not the middle i have a few more studs to find in an area where the electric wire is stapled to the stud , will see how that looks when it gets a bit warmer ## Frequently asked questions about Walabot DIY ### What does the Walabot DIY app do?
