I would like to see information about the walking routes , an option to log the sections I have walked etc ### 3/5 — BUGBEAR *2013-08-13, version 1.1* My big bugbear with this app, which unfortunately seems common among apps of this type, is the method of calculating distance. Distances always seem to be calculated on a point-to-point direct-line basis, bearing no resemblance to real-world conditions. For example, the three nearest beaches to Llanelli shown by the app include Broughton on Gower, supposedly 6.33 miles away. The actual distance is nearer 20 miles ! It's only 6.33 miles away if you walk across the shifting sands of the Loughor Estuary (avoiding the twice-daily tides). It will not download the maps to trace your route. Disappointing given its earlier track record. Really looks as though it’s no longer supported. Great that it downloads relevant maps. But the Explore tab freezes and you can't do much. Only loads 1 region even with all maps downloaded. Bit pathetic that it only has local business info for one town. Not much of a commitment to boosting the local economy. Great for exploring different beaches and coastline. ### 5/5 — Impressed *2013-08-13, version 1.1* Used the feedback facility in the app to contact the developer about the crash problem reported by the earlier reviewer as I experienced it too. Got an immediate response, they used the information I provided to diagnose the problem - an issue with the availability of the tide information - they are submitting a new release to apple with a fix. Tried it again this evening further along the coast and it worked brilliantly - this fits with the explanation they gave me about the crash being intermittent. Looking forward to the next release! ### 4/5 — Lots of info in one place - go walk it! *2015-02-01, version 3.1* The nice thing about this app is that it is not just maps. There's lots of information about areas, beaches, facilities, weather, tides and much more. You can download the data for the stretch you are interested in and the app works interactively using GPS to show nearest path access points and you can also track your progress.
