Appreciate ads are a necessary evil but constantly moving focus down the page to the ads is insane. You scroll down and suddenly the 3 paragraphs you haven’t read are now ads. Appalling and annoying. Regards, The ReachPLC App Team ### 3/5 — Adverts *2025-08-12, version 9.5.6* Decent enough app. Whilst appreciating the need for adverts, I significantly use this app less now (and thus less advertisers) because it will not allow me to read a whole story without whisking me, unrequested,to the bottom of the page adverts before finishing the story. The needless scroll up again is beyond annoying. If we could have story day without LRZ that would be nice too. ### 1/5 — Shocking *2025-07-05, version 9.5.4* This app really is bad. Crashing on iPhone constantly. You can read the start of a story but not the detail for most articles, this maybe eased a little on weekends. Ironically can access some full articles on Apple News. There are worse out there. ### 5/5 — Great News but watch out for Crypto scams! *2023-04-27* Watch out for “drop downs” relating to famous people advocating investing in Crypto. The famous people such as Elon Musk in the US and Jeremy Clarkson in the UK have their images appearing on screen apparently being interviewed by tv companies re Crypto trading and how to make a fortune quickly. This is all fake and is designed to lure you into investing in Cryptocurrency. Be warned. This technique is also used on Meta aka Facebook. ### 5/5 — Canadian *2020-12-10* So amazing being able to get Welsh news ### 5/5 — Great app, relevant news. *2020-07-06* This app is so helpful, it always provides me with the most relevant news, specific to my tastes, city and area. I also like that you get frequent notifications with informative headlines that tell you enough that you are informed and don’t have to read the entire article, but can of course if you want to. ### 5/5 — Good with a couple of annoying things. *2020-05-07* I find it very good for Welsh and local news, but as previously commented, you sometimes have to go into a heading more than once to get the full content. Also the most annoying thing I find, is when it drops out of the app when in mid story, this happens frequently on iPhone and iPad. ### 5/5 — Very hard to log in *2020-04-14* I have been with Wales on line for years and use it regularly however every time I want to go to specific areas it asks me to log in I use the credentials I have always used and every time I try I get blocked this so bad and frustrating that I give up why can’t you use the same sort of systems that Google Facebook and many others use.
