Hi Jessie, thank you so much for taking the time to write this. I am really glad setup felt easy and that the idea resonated with you. I’m sorry the experience didn’t live up to that first impression. You’re right about voice guidance: repeating “continue on” and relying on compass directions instead of clear turn-by-turn street cues can pull you out of your walk and interrupt your music. That’s not the phone-free experience I want for WalkMate. I’m also sorry the walk controls felt unclear, starting and pausing should feel obvious, and I’ll definitely use your feedback to refine that part of the interface. I’m taking this seriously and improving voice navigation and the walking controls so the app stays helpful without getting in the way. Thanks again for trying Walk Mate and for such thoughtful, constructive feedback. If you’re open to it, I’d love another chance once these updates land.
