### 1/5 — Latest update

*2026-07-09*

No longer usable after latest update

### 1/5 — junk

*2026-06-27*

If i didn't need this app to program my radio i would give this app negative numbers...

### 1/5 — what a disaster

*2026-05-18*

so whoever came up with the latest update should be given a gold medal for incompetence. The app was basically functional at best, and now someone decided to increase the font size for profiles as the latest enhancement; do you realise some people have long descriptive profile names which used to barely fit the screen before, now you have increased the font size and the full profile name is not even visible. Do you ever check what your end user requirements are before making such updates??? Do the actual persons making these enhancements actually use this app on a daily basis so they feel the pain??? What a disaster you guys are!!!

### 1/5 — No longer working

*2026-01-23*

The app doesn’t work anymore

### 1/5 — No longer working

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-12-29*

App is terrible. Chinese characters everyone. Tried to create account and then login tried twice. Didn’t work. Terrible.

### 1/5 — Needs too much work

*2025-10-25*

This program is so dysfunctional I can’t not believe Radtel is even using this for its radios. There are too many problems to name that this program has. It can read the radio that has already been programmed but it messes everything up if you write to the radio. What were you guys thinking? You can save the data file to your phone, if it really does save it anywhere, but why save the file? There is no way to even load a saved file, if it really does save it, which I’m thinking it don’t because it never asked where to save the file. Radtel, take some advise, get with your competition Tidradio and use something like ODmaster that they use which is amazing for programming a radio. I just hope this app has not corrupted my radio in anyway like others are saying have happened to them.

### 1/5 — DO NOT USE

*2025-10-09, version 1.1.8*

It froze my baofeng into a useless machine. Every frequency was triggering. And it got rid of the option to reset in the settings.
I only got through this by going onto another app and writing a new setting to wirelessly upload and making that setting reset. Then I went back onto it and pressed reset on the radio.

### 1/5 — Not recommended

*2025-10-06*

This program needs a lot of work. It will not import repeaters into the channels. Repeater search doesn’t gives you the right information. The only thing I use this app for is to name the channels once I have programmed them manually. Once I get my programming cable, I will not need it anymore. Unless a good update is released, I don’t see this app being useful to me.

### 1/5 — Absolutely rubbish

*2025-10-03, version 1.1.8*

What’s there to say absolutely rubbish app worst I’ve seen

## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated)

### 4/5 — Programming a radio

*2026-05-24*

This app appears to do a lot of things but all I wanted it for was programming my new Baofeng UV-28 Plus. For that it works perfectly once you figure out a few of its quirks. All the other functions of the app are not very intuitive but since all I use it for is programming my radio I can’t comment good or bad on them. I’m very happy with it.

### 2/5 — Works but needs improvement

*2026-07-18*

This app works with the Baofeng UV-5R Mini. I can read and write to channels. But overall the app could be better functionally and by design.

### 2/5 — What’s up with the error message?

*2026-01-11*

The app was working perfectly fine until all of a sudden out of the blue. I’m getting an error message and it won’t work at all.

Are you shutting it down and turning it back on and it still gives me an error message.

All I’m doing is programming one RADIO is saving it so I can transfer to other radios but this error message came up out of the blue for no reason
