It has all the bells and whistles at the fraction of the price! It is just about everything I could want in a dog walking software. Rob did a great job listening to all of our wants and needs when creating the updated version of the app. He has also included an AI response system for questions which helps a lot. The new data tracking was the most exciting thing for me. I love to see all the numbers. Rob has also been so attentive during the beta testing stage making sure to help anytime someone catches a bug. Thank you, Rob. Updated review: I enjoy Walkies until there is a problem and then I really struggle. Rob is not always responsive to questions or problems. This app would be so much better if he had a small support team. It’s really difficult to navigate problems when getting a response back is hit or miss. Currently I would love to get info on adding an employee and the support is just not there. I have also noticed a discrepancy in payment received tracking and would love a solution as I am having to do lots of extra work to get proper numbers. I want to see Walkies succeed. I tried a few other apps and didn’t care for the feel of them, and wound up finding Walkies. I’ve never looked back. The app is incredible, the developer is surprisingly super receptive to feature requests, concerns, etc - I say surprisingly because I never expected an app creator to respond. Now that I have hired other walkers, this app has been such a huge help in my business with that as well. As a business owner, there are already a ton of other operations that we need to focus on - so this app makes things run so smoothly. Thanks for following along on Instagram too! ### 5/5 — Best Pet Sitting App out there! *2025-12-22* So I’ve been trying to find a suitable pet sitting app where it’s easy for clients to stay up to date with status updates, messaging clients and letting them add info such as medication, food timings and other notes about their schedule (that requires not much action from the pet sitter themselves) - and this app is perfect for that! The fact it also has payment management in there as well is fantastic and it literally has everything you need for running a pet sitting business. I use it for every booking now and it allows the pet owners to check in on anything! Also prefer them contacting me through the app, rather than calling or messaging me privately. 10/10 would recommend giving it a go! **Developer response:** Thank you so much for the detailed review! If you actually want a serious app go to Time to Pet. The founder is pretty rude too when you report bugs. I was told that what I reported wasn’t a bug and that I should know the difference. Improvements now cost money *2019-12-19, version 2.5.0* Update: so the things I had asked Walkies for LONG time ago, even when I upgraded my membership? Like being able to text the owners their report cards/walk reports, I see its now conviently in the “Premium” $14.99 upgrade. That was a underhanded thing to do especially when I had been asking about that feature a long time ago and they kept telling me to just copy and paste! I’ve changed my rating now to two because of that. What a rip off and backhanded. So I’ve been using this app for a good while, sent in suggestions and what not and I have to say that the suggestions were listened to and the app has improved by leaps and bounds! I love that now I can share my invoices with my clients via text! And walks and check ins!!!! It wasn’t like that before, you could email them out but all my clients communicate via texts. I can’t wait to see the growth yet to come. 🫶🏼 ### 3/5 — Great for solo sitters with IOS but NOT android or laptop friendly *2025-10-20, version 3.7.74* I started using Walkies when I was a solo sitter; it’s always been simple and aesthetically pleasing, and clients always loved their report cards. There have been a few updates since then that have made the app a bit better. However, I wish the updates were less focused on how it looks and more on fixing the Android app, as not everyone has iPhones. With a growing team, my staff have told me how the app crashes on them, especially with one specific client. I’ve had issues with the app crashing on me every few times whenever I just tapped on my screen. What’s more frustrating is the app is only for iOS; it’s not Android or laptop friendly at all, which, with a growing company, scheduling on the phone can be annoying and tricky, having to go back and forth to the schedule and request screen. My staff who have Androids their GPS tracking is inaccurate; it goes all over their screen, and the timer is off, causing pet owners to question why their dogs weren’t walked in their normal route and why they’ve been walked for shorter times. I’ve been using Walkies for years now and loved it when I was solo; however, at this time with the growing company I think it’s time to use a more complex software like TTP or Petpocketbook. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great tool *2026-08-30* I enjoy this app for myself and clients to stay organized and on top of communication/reports/invoicing. The features are exactly what I need as a dog walker/sitter and I’ve found it allows me to be more present with the pups instead of trying to remember all we did during our time together and sending a long recap via text to parents at the end of the day. My favorite features are the gps tracker (and that you can note their potty habits easily and quickly within the gps), the taxi (car ride) feature, and being able to share photos and videos with the pet parents from our time together! Speaking of parents, the feedback from them has been fabulous! They love being able to follow along with their pup’s day in real time, and love showing their colleagues, friends, and family their pup’s “Instagram feed” from the day and what they’ve been up to! It also gives them peace of mind knowing they can check in anytime and see where their pup is and what they’re up to. Big kudos to the app developer! The difference is night and day. Time to Pet felt dated and overcomplicated, with a cluttered interface and features I never needed but constantly had to work around. Walkies is the opposite: clean, modern, and built around what actually matters in the field. Scheduling, client details, walk logging, and updates are all organized the way the job really works, and I'm not fighting the app to get through my day. It smooths out the entire tech process, leaving walkers with plenty of bandwidth to focus on what really matters, the dogs. Another thing that sets it apart is the developer. Rob is genuinely easy to talk to, responsive, and open to feedback. I've suggested features and watched them become real updates, sometimes the same day.
