### 5/5 — Walking

*2019-03-28*

Nice app. Soothing voice. I have long trails in a forest to walk through and this is the perfect app to take along. Glad I found it.

*Reading through some of the comments I realized there are a bunch of critical people out there that probably won’t find happiness or contentment in any app. Not every app in the app store will work for everybody. This one works for me.

### 5/5 — Different and really cool

*2018-11-04*

I really like this app because normally, I hate walking because I find it really boring. This app makes it a mental challenge that I enjoy, so I actually look forward to walking now, plus there's the added benefit that I'm training my mind. This is a really cool idea because I haven't seen any other apps like it. It would be cool if they had more than three meditations, but still a great app.

### 5/5 — Great

*2018-05-09*

So far I only did the first meditation but I really liked it. Felt really alive after. Worth every penny.

### 4/5 — Simple and just right

*2017-10-31, version 4.0*

It's so simple to use and makes me feel like walking! It's very meditative stops the monkey chatter. I come back floating!

### 2/5 — Only 3 recordings!!

*2017-08-16*

Not worth the money

### 5/5 — Great value!

*2017-03-10, version 3.1*

Well worth the low price

### 5/5 — Love this ap!

*2017-02-08, version 3.1*

This walk g meditation ap is great! It really helps to keep me present during my walk.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2017-02-05, version 3.1*

I really like this app. Very useful!

### 5/5 — Wasn't Sure About This But...

*2017-01-28*

I really enjoy using this. I got the bundle of apps and use the guided meditation, walking meditation and the sleep apps. I never thought I could walk without music much less meditate but I am doing both and love it. It's part of my everyday ritual now.

### 5/5 — Great for reducing anxiety

*2016-11-10, version 3.1*

If you like the other meditation apps from this company such as Simply Being, then you're bound to like this. It's the same lady speaking, whose voice I find very soothing. Walking is great for reducing anxiety on its own, but pairing with meditation is even better. It really helps me to get out of my head and stop ruminating.

### 2/5 — Difficult to hear

*2016-09-05, version 3.1*

I found this really hard to hear. Especially when walking near traffic. You need to be somewhere very quiet.

### 5/5 — Just what I was looking for

*2016-07-11, version 3.1*

This app gave me exactly what I needed as I began a program of meditation & exercise.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2016-06-13, version 3.1*

Very good basic mindfulness exercises.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2016-05-03, version 3.1*

Great app! I suffer from anxiety and struggle to meditate but enjoy walking so this incorporates both highly recommend it

### 5/5 — Surprised !

*2016-04-01, version 3.1*

I always thought that I enjoyed walking, but I was surprised to find myself enjoying it more while being guided by this app. The emphasis was less on the exercise aspect and more on the experiential part. Being in the moment made the walk stimulating and rewarding.

### 4/5 — What I expected and wanted

*2015-08-03*

For $0.99, I expected a calm voice that would help keep my thoughts where they belong during the meditation. As someone with no experience meditating, I thought this would be helpful, and it is. I can see that a more experienced person might not need it. I can also see that I'll soon be able to build in some breaks -- not listening to anything. But for now, and for me, this is great and absolutely worth the cost.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2017-02-22, version 3.1*

It only has three meditations which should be disclosed and they are virtually the same thing. Rip off for even 2 dollars

### 1/5 — Would rate it no stars

*2016-04-27, version 3.1*

Narrator's voice is the worst. It's all the same terrible.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2016-03-17, version 3.1*

I started to listen and the voice was so terrible and annoying that I couldn't even get through the first minute. Don't bother with this one folks. That's $2 I'll never get back!

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2015-06-15*

No controls. She just keeps saying the same thing over and over. The "enliven body" and "enliven senses" meditation are not much different than the "fully present" meditation. I thought they would be more specific to the titles, but there's just a few words during them that have anything to do with the subject of the meditation. The most annoying thing is the very long pauses throughout the whole recording. It's not very relaxing to have to stop walking and/or meditating to see if I hit pause accidentally or caused it to stop playing in some way.

However, I will say that I've enjoyed the Relax and Rest app they have. You can change the music and control the music and voice volume, among other controls. I just think this walking one was not well thought out.

### 1/5 — Not good

*2015-04-15, version 3.1*

How has this gotten so many good reviews?

### 1/5 — Not worth the money

*2014-12-08, version 3.1*

There are no controls in this app it's just a recording of irritating lady voice and no options to change.

### 1/5 — Annoying voice!

*2014-08-19, version 3.1*

I love meditating and love walking. This app should be a match made in heaven for me. But alas, within the first 10 seconds of commencing it, my natural calmness was stripped from me and replaced with fierce rage at the sound of the woman's voice! It's like a joke. This is the voice I would adopt if playing a patronising therapist in a comedy movie. The strong American accent and the pathetic tone made me mindful of wanting to start punching faces.

### 1/5 — Waste

*2014-06-05, version 3.1*

The first thing the annoying voice told me to do was "stop walking". Why would I want to stop walking during the "walking meditation"? Don't waste your dollar

### 1/5 — Not worth it.

*2012-10-20, version 1.1*

Breath and look at things around you. Not a very good meditation.

### 1/5 — Walking meditation

*2012-07-20, version 1.1*

It costs you a $1:00 and don't get anything so don't buy no wonder there are no reviews I have to rate 1 star but it should be 0

### 5/5 — Perfect ADHD meditation help!

*2024-04-22, version 4.0*

I REALLY struggle with conventional meditation. This is a wonderful solution for my ADHD brain!

### 5/5 — I love this app

*2023-04-02, version 4.0*

I regularly go for waljs, and this app. accompanies me every time. It has transformed the experience of walking and mindfulness. I have found an earpiece that rests on the ear rather than insside the ear, and it’s just simply amazing walking in nature, listening to the wonderful narration. I highly recommend this app along with wireless open ear headphones as you can hear the voice whilst taking in the sounds around you

### 5/5 — Used this while walking my dogs

*2023-03-01*

I began using this during the pandemic when I walked my dogs. It is still one of the best to use

### 5/5 — Love this app.

*2023-03-01, version 4.0*

I feel so refreshed after using this app. It brings a whole new perspective to familiar surroundings, sounds and self. Absolutely worth the small cost. It’s brought a new joy to walking.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2021-08-24*

I’ve had this app since 2012 and I still use it! Simple. And a great walking meditation!

### 5/5 — Helpful

*2020-01-24*

I have learned so much from this app and it helps the time go by when I am walking my dog so that we both get a lot more exercise

### 5/5 — Body movement and zen space

*2019-06-14*

I really like this simple app for a walking meditation. It keeps me focused on being present. I’ve recently started using it for bike riding as well. Rather than the monkey mind I have a half an hour listening to a soothing voice gently reminding me to focus inward but still able to experience the senses without labeling. My workdays are definitely more balanced when I use this app.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2019-06-07*

Someone said she repeats the same thing: yup that’s how the meditation works. This is the best I’ve found for walking meditation which for me,after many years of meditation, is still the hardest. Great app

### 5/5 — It works for me 😀

*2019-04-07, version 4.0*

I suffer from anxiety and l am a fidget freak, so It’s difficult for me to meditate in the traditional sitting position. But walking is my way of relaxing providing l can turn off my brain and my negative thoughts, and this app really does seem to help me keep in the moment. Love it.
