## What is WalkPlease?

WalkPlease is the minimalist focus habit that keeps your most distracting apps locked until your personal step goal gives you back access.

Connect Apple Health → grant Family Controls → pick the apps, categories, or web domains that trigger doomscrolling → set a daily step goal. Until you reach that goal, the shield created with Screen Time stays active and the selected distractions stay blocked. Every step, distance meter, calorie burn, and chart you see is a prompt to move, not a guilt trip.

Features you can feel:

• Step-based blocking powered by Apple Health + FamilyControls/ManagedSettings
• Progress ring showing steps, distance, calories, and how close you are to your goal
• Weekly/monthly charts, recent history, and a clean calendar view
• Configurable notifications for midday reminders, “final stretch,” and goal completion
• Settings to change your blocked apps or adjust your goal whenever you like
• Shield-status card that explains whether the shield is engaged and lets you reopen the settings flow

WalkPlease is not a parental control tool, nor an enterprise MDM or a medical app. It’s a self-led focus aid: you choose the rule (move first, unlock later) and let the system enforce it. Because all data stays on-device, the experience is private, calm, and premium.
