I’m supposed to get an email saying I won and delivery instructions. Nothing yet. The app has no way to “contact” or “report” an issue. Is this just a scam to keep people engaged? **Developer response:** Hello! An email was sent to you a couple days ago to congratulate you on your win. Please check your inbox and spam folder for an email from support@walkstars.app. Sometimes our emails are automatically filtered. Additionally, your MacBook has been delivered to the shipping address that you provided us. Every prize that we offer is won by real people, and delivered to them. It would be greatly appreciated if you can update your review once you have confirmed the receipt of your prize. Thanks! ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-04-01* Scam app, pyramid scheme. They just hope you fork over the money for the paid service, but you don’t actually win anything! Dumped over 1 million entries on a single item and still lost. App is a money grab scam use extreme caution ⚠️ **Developer response:** Hello! We are not running a scam here. In fact, we are bound by gaming laws that force our system to be fair and legal. Our prizes run in a Prize-Draw format, where every additional ticket entered into the prize-draw increases your chances of winning it. I can fully understand the frustration of saving up a million tickets to then lose the prize you were hoping for, but please keep in mind that you are competing for prizes against an entire user-base who are all submitting thousands of tickets with the same goal in mind. Tickets are earned for free by taking steps. No purchase is necessary to either earn tickets or win prizes. Perhaps they work in the office or are family members? **Developer response:** Hello! I fully understand where you are coming from. At the time you wrote this comment, our app was only a couple of months old and had a very small user base. The few people that won several prizes were not family or co-workers, but they were very high steppers relative to the rest of the userbase. Our app is regulated under gaming laws and forces us to comply with fair and legal prize draw standards, and we are happy to do so. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2025-11-02* Can’t create profile to log in, this is a scam and is not worth the time to even try downloading. None of the profile creating options work, the people who say it works are probably just bots or people who made the app. **Developer response:** Hello, Thanks for your review, and I'm so sorry you are running into a connection issue. The concept of WalkStars is a little different. For walking you get tickets to enter prize raffles. And the more you walk the more tickets you can get! Last week, I won an Apple Watch. And the delivery was super fast. Perfect way to start the new year! If you walk a lot or want to start, this is the perfect app!
