## What is Walktrait?

Your everyday journeys deserve a place to stay.

Walktrait turns your walks, rides and daily trips into a growing personal map. Familiar routes become bolder as you return, while new roads add fresh lines to your story.

YOUR GROWING MAP
Explore a quiet blank map or switch to a street map. Zoom, pan, filter by day or travel type, and choose a palette. Save places with photos, notes and categories, or set a destination flag.

DISCOVER SOMETHING NEW
See your estimated new-road distance and ratio. Explore & return suggests walking routes within a time budget using Apple walking directions when available. Distance and return-time estimates are approximate.

KEEP A PORTRAIT OF YOUR DAY
Add photos and notes, choose a portrait style, and save or share your daily journey. Revisit your journal, replay your growing map, or export a map video. Import GPX and TCX routes and export GPX files. Optional endpoint hiding helps you prepare routes for sharing.

RECORD YOUR WAY
Start and pause a journey manually, or enable optional automatic journey detection. Background location and a Live Activity help keep a journey going while your screen is locked. GPS quality, automatic detection and battery use vary with conditions.

Your saved routes, photos and notes stay on your iPhone. No Walktrait account is required. Apple Maps powers place search and walking directions. The free app includes ads; an optional one-time Remove Ads Forever purchase removes them. There is no subscription.
