### 1/5 — How to download a single wallpaper

I didn't find a way to download a picture when using the app without buying a subscription?

There is also no overview where I can find free wallpaper.

Unuseable without a subscription.

**Developer response:** Hi, sorry you had trouble finding the free images. The download button label changes to read “Free” while scrolling through the community uploads. No subscription required. Hope that helps.

this app is usefulness, you must post to work, and after you pay for this trash you can’t write for generating a picture
and this created by iran government and they can still you pictures after allowing permission to access pictures.

1. I'm glad this app is the very definition of usefulness to you, cheers!
2. You don't have to post anything for the app to work. But it's cool if you do. 
3. You can't "write for generating a picture" because that's what keeps this app safe and a 4+ age rating
4. App is made in USA, just like I was
5. Apps that ask for permissions to save images have zero ability to actually access your pictures. It's a default iOS permission requesting the ability to save to your library.

Not a single wallpaper for free. The moment you try to download or generate a wallpaper you have to pay.

**Developer response:** Sooo every 7th wallpaper is free to download! In order to generate wallpapers, yes it requires an active subscription because every API call costs me money. Not sure how that's greedy or worth 1 star?

They count every creation against your budget whether you like the result or not or download the result or not.

**Developer response:** Hi there. Thanks for giving Wall•Genie a try. This is covered in the FAQ and is also the nature of Generative AI. Chances are you'll like most of your creations, but obviously can't be guaranteed. I'm sorry it was worth only 2 stars to you.

There is variety but none of them are really attractive, just random abstract stuff. Most of them are not free to download either. Also, you gotta pay to generate your own wallpapers 🤷🏻

I think this is an awesome idea for wallpapers and being generated by AI. 

However,  the feel of all the wallpapers seem the same to me.  Yeah,  they look different but it feels like all of them was made from the same blueprint. 

I enjoyed looking at the wallpapers but definitely not enough contrast and variety between the wallpapers to do a subscription.

It’s amazing the images AI can generate nowadays, and this app does a great job showcasing some of the best capabilities. The only limitation is having to update my wallpaper myself, but maybe someday that could be automated too. Neat app!
