## What is Wallet Diary?

A calendar and an expense tracker should be one app.

  You put "Dinner with friends" in your calendar, then open a different app afterwards to record what it cost.
  One thing, entered twice, filed in two places. WalletDiary makes it one: a single list that is your schedule
  and your ledger at the same time.

  1. Write it down now, fill in the amount later
  Most expense trackers will not save an entry without a figure. Here you write down what you are doing, and
  add the amount after the appointment or the meal. Until then it is a plan; once you fill it in, it is an
  expense — with nothing to retype.

  2. Money you have committed, not just money you have spent
  Scheduled entries that have not been paid yet carry their own total, kept apart from what has actually left
  your pocket. What is still coming this month is a figure you can read, not one you have to work out.

  3. It looks forward, not back
  Entries run down one agenda by date: what has already happened fades, what is still ahead stays sharp. A
  ledger shows you last month. This shows you the next few days.

  4. Clean, and quick to use
  Press the plus and you are in the entry screen with the cursor already in the name field. No tutorial, no
  setup wizard, no full-screen ads. Light and dark are both properly dressed, figures line up in columns, and
  nothing is too small to read.

  5. No cloud, no sign-up
  No account, no servers, no ads, no tracking. It works in airplane mode, because it never needed the network
  to begin with.

  Everything else you would expect
  - Multiple ledgers: household, personal and travel kept apart, each with its own currency, switched from the
  title bar
  - Budgets: a monthly total or a limit per category, with used, remaining and over at a glance
  - Recurring entries: rent, subscriptions and salary post themselves, and upcoming ones appear on the
  calendar first
  - Reminders: ten minutes, an hour or a day before
  - Statistics: monthly trend, category breakdown, daily average, this month against last
  - Categories with your own names, icons and colours
  - Payment methods: cash, credit card, mobile pay
  - Hide every amount with one tap when someone is looking over your shoulder
  - Eight currencies, three colour themes, light and dark
  - English, 繁體中文, 简体中文
