## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.10.0 — 2026-07-24

Added
- Opening Balance — Set a Planning’s starting cash in onboarding, create, and edit. Non-zero amounts show on the timeline as a projected “initial balance” row (not a Transaction), and feed Current / Expected / end-of-week balances.
- Home Screen Quick Actions — Long-press the app icon to jump straight into adding an expense, income, or credit card purchase.
- Edit credit card purchases — Correct amount, installment count, and schedule. Paid installments stay frozen; remaining amounts redistribute across unpaid ones.
- Per-planning notification mutes — Mute reminders for specific Plannings in Settings.

Changed
- Profile & Settings — Profile is a single scrolling sectioned hub; notification controls live in Settings.
- Onboarding for existing web users — If a Planning already has Transactions, currency and Opening Balance steps are skipped.
- Balance refresh — Current and end-of-week totals refresh from the current period.

Fixed
- Weekly Insights counted invoice bill rows instead of individual credit card purchases; totals now match category spend.
- End-of-week balance fell back to a placeholder when the cached value was missing; it now uses Current Balance.
- Category picker could stay empty after a failed startup fetch; categories reload when add-transaction opens.
- Dashboard horizontal padding.

What's New
Investments tab
Track your savings and investments in one place. Log contributions, interest, and withdrawals, view monthly charts, and browse recent activity — all from a dedicated Investments tab.

Insights (formerly Reports)
Reports is now Insights, with a clearer view of where your money goes. Explore month-over-month category trends to see which spending categories went up or down, and tap a category to drill into its transactions and compare months side by side.

Transactions tab
Your transaction timeline now has its own tab in the main navigation, so you can jump to expenses and income without leaving the app flow.

Smarter dashboard
The dashboard is more useful at a glance:

Pay / receive this week cards surface bills and income due in the next seven days
Cash flow chart splits income and expenses into paid vs pending
Category trends preview highlights the biggest spending changes vs. last month
Improved loading states when opening or refreshing the dashboard
Pending bills
A new Pending Bills screen lets you review unpaid expenses and unreceived income for the month, mark items as paid or received, and add new bills from the same place.

Clearer feedback

Toasts confirm when transactions are created, updated, deleted, or marked paid
Error banners stay visible when the API fails (e.g. network issues) so you know something went wrong
Transaction forms

Keyboard focus and a dismiss toolbar make forms easier to use
Add investment transactions from the expanded add-transaction menu
Improvements & fixes
Fixed issues with the category picker
Fixed chart and dashboard display bugs
Smoother dashboard loading on launch and pull-to-refresh
