However, after Apple implemented their extended wallpaper “feature”, the app no longer works, as it modifies the image to have a grotesque white blur at the top. This can be worked around by producing a smaller image. PLEASE FIX! ### 4/5 — Please add neon glowing lines *2021-12-02* Hi there! This app is great and it’s missing one thing and that’s neon glowing lines which look really pretty if you add those. I hope you guys will consider this. Very easy to use and allows for some nice customization features. I haven’t purchased it yet but at $1.99 the price is reasonable and best of all the developer isn’t asking for a weekly, monthly or yearly fee! It looks good when you preview the picture with the border but when you actually try to set it as a wallpaper the effect doesn’t work UPDATE: the developer sent me a video responding to my review that actually showed how to correctly align the wallpaper. I just wish that was implemented in the app more clearly **Developer response:** Hi Ian, Sorry to hear it isn’t working right for you, if you have any of the X iPhones (X, XR, XS or XS Max) it can be a little tricky setting the created wallpaper as it isn’t correctly aligned to the top by default (I’m not sure why Apple made this design decision). Because of this it unfortunately requires a little manual adjustment, and that adjustment is different depending on if you have Reduced Motion turned on or off. Regards, David ### 5/5 — Surprisingly Good tbf *2019-03-03* Downloaded the app while bored one night just to try make a wallpaper that had a border around the notch of my XR and this app worked great, the 99p to remove the watermark is more of a, if you can’t stand tiny water that you barely notice, sort of deal. If you have any of the X-family devices (iPhone X, XR, XS or XS Max) it can be a lit­tle tricky set­ting the cre­at­ed wall­pa­per as it isn’t cor­rect­ly aligned to the top by de­fault. As such it unfortunately re­quires a lit­tle man­u­al ad­just­ment when setting (pinch to zoom out to the edges and then move up). It only puts a rectangle border around a rectangle wallpaper. When set, the border runs under the notch, not outlining the notch. Also runs under the corners. Also difficult to set as wallpaper. And totally unusable with a watermark. Why would anyone want a watermark on their wallpaper? Not worth $1.99 to remove, if it doesn't work to begin with. WORKS NOW! Update fixed it for my iPhone 12 Pro Max! Thanks to the developer for his response. **Developer response:** Hi Stepwild, I’m guessing you have an iPhone 12 mini or Pro Max, which weren’t supported by version 2.0.2 but are now with 2.1. Setting the wallpaper in the correct position is a little tricky, especially if you don’t have reduced motion turned on. The setting mechanism that zooms in the image by default is controlled by Apple and is unfortunately not something I can change.
