Changing rooms always changes the size of all the art in the room. When you go to resize, it crops instead of resizing, and the only way to fix it is to reimport the artwork. This fit all the bills! Great price point, compared to many, reasonable number of room options at the base price, plus the option to buy more. Also there was one feature I wish it had, so I contacted them about free form image rotation, and they’re adding it!! Wow! I already subscribed and paid. Schade. ### 1/5 — Purchased Walls are Gone! *2025-02-09* I’ve been using this app for years and have purchased a total of 130 walls, all of which have now disappeared. I reached out to the developer a few months ago about this and followed his directions explicitly to restore my purchased walls to no avail. I’ve even implemented the new instructions using the filter to show only purchased walls to retrieve my previously purchased walls and they are still nowhere to be found. I have an older phone with a previous version of the app that has at least some of the walls I’ve purchased. This problem has now persisted for several months and there has yet to be an update that resolves this problem and I see other reviewers now complaining about this same issue. Glad to see I’m not the only one. I’m done talking to the developer, I’ll be reaching out to Apple for a refund, this is ridiculous. **Developer response:** I truly apologise for the inconvenience you’ve experienced with the app. Please be assured that we would never intentionally remove any walls you've purchased. We acknowledge that there were issues during the migration from the old WallPicture2 version to the new one. This most significant app upgrade took place on January 10, 2025. Over the last few weeks, we’ve been actively addressing various fixes and incorporating user feedback, both visual and functional. I’m confident that we’ve resolved all the problems you might have encountered. I understand your frustration, and I hope you can give us another chance by downloading the latest update, version 3.0.7. You should find all your previously purchased walls in the Walls menu. Since I couldn’t locate an email associated with your nickname in this review, I would greatly appreciate it if you could contact me via email at hello@wallpicture.app. This way, I can personally ensure you can access all your walls, and I will provide extra credits for the trouble. The AR is breathtaking. Great work! ### 5/5 — My go to app for visualizing artwork *2025-02-11, version 3.0.6* WallPictureApp has made it so much easier for me to visualize my artwork. It’s so easy to use, and it really helps me figure out how a piece will look in a real space. I especially love how customizable it is - I can add different effects, choose frames, and adjust the shadow around the artwork to get the perfect look. I definitely recommend this app! ### 5/5 — Wow, that’s an incredible upgrade! *2025-02-11, version 3.0.6* I’ve been using the app for years now, and I have to admit that the fresh new design is really lovely. With the AR feature, you can make an impression on colleagues or family (we had so much fun with it). A novel idea! As I have more paintings to promote, I buy more rooms, rather than a monthly fee like the other programs where I have to pay every month whether I use the program or not. (And I refuse to subscribe to) Next, of the apps I’ve tried, this is by far the easiest to use and has all the features to do a great job of placing my art in a positive way. Quick, easy, and efficient. But I wish it included: More variety of rooms. I believe all the similar apps are the same in this respect. They mostly have elegant living rooms, elegant dining rooms, nice elegant shelves, all with elegant furniture and vases. But not all art goes in the elegant spaces of an elegant house. How about including more ‘average’ type rooms that looks like someone’s home that people live in. And specialty rooms such as a library, billiard room, craft room, train set room, gaming room. And other rooms like the home office, sun room, music room, man cave, she shed, and kitchen. I know there are a few of these available in this app, but very few. I have paintings that fit into man caves, studies, libraries, etc. And it’s kind of out of place sticking them in these ‘elegant’ rooms. Just one example, I have a large painting of a skull. I don’t think it’s likely that someone will be hanging that over their fancy couch in their elegant living room. Also I can’t enter CC info when I try and buy credits for walls on my phone. There’s no keyboard. iPhone 13.
