## What is Wandelen?

This is THE hiking app for The Netherlands with:

- 4.000 hiking routes through nature or cities with search functionality
- All the long distance routes, "LAW", and "Streekpaden"
- 1.500 hiking events from "Koninklijke Wandel bond Nederland"
- All hiking activities from IVN
- The app provides information about the area, distance, if dogs are allowed, etc
- The free version includes hundreds of routes. Additional routes are available through in-app purchases and start a just 1 euro
- or use the built-in GPS recording feature to record a route and earn additional routes without spending any money

Intuitive and easy to use and everything combined into one app.
With this app you don't have to go looking for paper maps and flyers from various local organisations. This is the app where all routes come together.

Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
