I got recommended to try the “wander” app and this is NOT the one they were talking about. This one only has three countries. It’s a scam app that is somehow allowed to use the same name as a better app.

Sorry you accidentally downloaded the wrong app from the one you intended; turns out some apps can have similar names but be completely unrelated!

It’s not a scam app, it is just unavailable in the United States at the moment. It functions perfectly fine in London and Sydney!

While I appreciate the improvements to UI. I don’t like how it reduced the ability to specify the types of attraction you’re looking for. Like asking specifically for markets or pubs was great. I also would like to see a way to specify an area for where to search or just search the whole area in general. I typically know about the places closest to me. The app was more functional before

I recently moved to London and downloaded “Wander” soon after. I have loved using it! It’s amazing to see such a wide variety of activities one can find around their area. Wander did a great job of pointing me in the right directions to finding new and immersive experiences near me. Would recommend to anyone in the City!

I live in London and love using this app to explore new areas of London, or to find new places near home that I never knew were there!

I especially like finding nature spots when I have a spare 10 minutes in a new area, and really like the new expansion to outer boroughs.

Definitely recommend to anyone visiting or living in London!

If you are new in the city, Wander is your local friend who always has a suggestion for a cool spot around you. 
I found it extremely useful to find something worth visiting in less popular areas of the city. 
Compared to the classic random “search around me” on Maps, Wander proposes you one place based on rating and distance, and similarly to a dating app allows you to “match”, or skip to the next.

Highly recommended!
