My five and seven year olds love these just like I did. Thank you for keeping them alive! Having the Wanderful apps along on the iPad for the plane ride was a life saver. He spent literally hours immersed in them. The Tortoise and the Hare seems to be his favorite. They ran on Mac back in the day. My guys learned to read and had fun doing it with the living book series. Thank you for your work bringing them to the iPad. Now my grand children can use them. Why nobody takes time to review these is beyond me. My wife has shown them at school with creative learn ears and they are smiling and learning. Thanks for doing this work. Well done. McMike ### 5/5 — Excellent Sampler *2013-01-04, version 1.0* This app is really fantastic…samples of all the great Wanderful storybooks (originally published as Living Books) in one App. The best part is that they provide instructions for how parents can disable the pages that encourage the purchase of the full Apps -- this makes it even better for young children. My kids love it! ### 5/5 — Fantastic to get hooked on! *2012-12-19, version 1.0* If you want to find out whether or not your kids will enjoy these (and they will) definitely download this and try them out. I must admit I, the parent, was getting into it trying to find out the interactive parts on each page. Love it! My 3 year old was spellbound and my 8 year old was begging (on his knees, no less) for me to get the full versions of all the books. Because the games are over $5.00 each, I downloaded this to see how it would go. Unfortunately every time I click on the app it closes immediately. I won't buy anything until I know this will work. Please fix it :( ### 3/5 — More books! *2014-02-07, version 1.2* When I was younger we had 'Just Grandma and Me' on the computer and it was so much fun. I would love for my son to be able to enjoy playing it also. Please make this book into an app. It would be great to make other old Living Books like Dr. Seuss's ABC, Sheila Rae the Brave, Green Eggs and Ham, Stellaluna, Arthur's Reading Race, The Cat in the Hat, Arthur's Computer Adventure, and D.W. the Picky Eater. And any other children's books would be great, they are so much fun! ### 4/5 — Masterfully transferred to the iPad *2013-03-03, version 1.1* My daughter with disabilities grew up loving these interactive books. Now she is 20 years old and instantly remembered how to interact. It brings back many wonderful memories. I especially like the new settings which were not in the original versions of these interactive books. These new settings allow for more control, allowing the child, (or in my case the adult-child) to accelerate interactions by allowing interruptions to what use to be fixed animation periods. This helps to keep her engaged since she can instantly change what is going on. I am hopeful that other "Living Books" titles can be transferred over to the iPad such as "Arthur's Computer Trouble". Again, a masterful transfer of these interactive books. ### 5/5 — Some glitches but still awesome! *2026-01-10, version 1.4* I absolutely loved the Cd-ROM version at this game when I was a child, so I’m super excited to see that it’s still available on iOS for my nieces, nephews, and future children. It’s such a fun way to explore reading and word play and it’s incredibly interactive and engaging. Music is peaceful and the story books as a whole are not so overstimulating, as many games and shows are these days. The ONLY issue I’ve seen so far is that sometimes the return/back button as the home button do not work, so I’ll have to close the app and open again, which can be frustrating. If this could be fixed, I would have absolutely nothing to complain about!
