There’s not even a text search available to make it easier to determine that Wanderlog does not include something you want to add. You can’t even re-sort these lists by name to jump to a letter to see if the desired place is on the pre-limited list. Extremely disappointing! ### 4/5 — What's not to love? *2026-08-26, version 2.218* I really love this app. It is an amazing took to maximise the time you have, especially on those city breaks. I love you can link in travel, accommodation and budgets. Possibly the best thing for me is knowing how long it will take to get from A to B and I love how you get information regarding the average visit time in places of interest. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is I think the subscription price is a little high - I love it can juggle the plan for maximum efficiency but you can also do that by just looking at the map and doing that yourself. Having said that, I am always recommending this app to people. The AI feature makes it super easy to tailor the trip to exactly what you want the focus to be. Since I'm doing a driving trip around Scotland, it's been especially helpful for suggesting places to stay, eat, and stop for petrol along the way. It also recommends places to visit based on your interests, which has been incredibly useful. The free version is fantastic, but I liked it so much that I ended up subscribing—and I'm really glad I did. Being able to use the AI to continually adjust my plans as I research and discover new interests has been a game changer. I also love that it connects you to websites where you can book activities and find additional information from other travelers about attractions and itineraries. It gives you more resources to research and build a better trip. I'm not normally much of a planner, but this app is turning me into one because it's actually so much fun! ### 5/5 — Best travel App *2026-08-21, version 2.218* A wonderful resource. Really enjoyed this app and will absolutely use it again. It’s great that you can add attachments to things to save your tickets and reservations all in one place, saving you time. So many good aspects to this app but it is our go to place on our trip and is super helpful. Every night we would review what we were doing the next day, and day of we were able to pull up tickets and reservations easily. ### 5/5 — I never planned until Wanderlog *2026-08-20, version 2.218* Love it! Very useful. Love the map as I am planning and seeing the commute times between things to do. Suggestions also rock and it will auto load detailed like opening and closing times, website links. When I try the get help from app support it tells me I need to download the app….I literally have the app and have downloaded, deleted, and downloaded. Update I unowned tried to contact support 5x’s with no response ### 1/5 — Pretty but not functional *2026-08-21, version 2.218* This is the worst travel app I’ve used. You might think this is a good app if you’ve never looked at any other app. The email itinerary function didn’t ever create itineraries for me or reject me or even say that anything went wrong. It just never showed up in the trip. Also, the wizard is annoying. When you start a new trip it asks you all kinds of questions that you’re not ready to answer yet. You can add your flights and hotels and get suggestions for what to do each day based on where you’ll be. A link to the directions auto populates between different places in your itinerary to give you an idea of how much you’ll be driving (or walking/taking public transport). You can open the link in Google/Apple maps and you can view all your locations on a map color coded by day! I also loved the recommendations, and that everyone in the group had access to the all the information. My favorite feature is that you can email the flights/hotel reservations to the app and it populates all the information! No need to look thru emails to find the info!
