### 5/5 — Great app for tracking things to buy (wanted vs. needed)

*2015-04-13, version 1.0.2*

Sometimes, maybe all the time, I want to buy something.

This is a good app idea to help me decide what things are really needs and what things are just wants.

The UI is simple and easy to use. It’s a great app to track your wants and needs using photos and short descriptions.

Download it!

### 5/5 — Thanks wants and needs!

*2015-04-09, version 1.0.2*

Wants and Needs app is such a great app. It really helps me to prioritize my wants, needs and thanks. When I use the app, it allows me to see what I have in my life and after using it for so long, I am able to try to find a positive outlook, through thankfulness, on almost any situation. It's a great app and would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

### 5/5 — Organizer/Task List/Picker-Upper/All-in-One

*2015-02-12, version 1.0*

It's a great little app to have! It's really an all-in-one app. Very very very user friendly. No up down swipe left swipe right stuff that you forget how to use. It's a straightforward task list. The major difference is its third category "thanks". This makes all the difference. I get stressed out making my to do lists. Even my "wants" stresses me out because I can't have them when I really want them! Lol! But this thanks list forces me to think of all of the things I'm thankful for and it kind of prioritizes my priorities for me. It forces me to think positively. Gives me a few seconds of meditation/prayer even. I do my thanks last so I sign off on a good note. Overall a great little app to have. Thanks to the developer! Great idea!

### 5/5 — Fun and Practical!

*2015-01-30, version 1.0*

This app is so easy to use and has lots of ways you can use it! I have enjoyed adding photos to my Needs and Wants lists and the ability to edit my Needs and Wants into Thanks - great for keeping your life in balance. Also great for kids to help them learn the art of balance!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn't sync

*2015-12-31, version 1.0.7*

Doesn't sync devices.

### 1/5 — Passcode

*2015-11-14, version 1.0.7*

I forgot my passcode - how can I reset it?
Please help

### 2/5 — Wonderful concept. Needs work.

*2015-05-05, version 1.0.2*

Had great fun entering things, but multi-device (iPhone/iPad) really messes up. Pictures randomly go black and never come back. Sometimes it syncs to the lowest common denominator, and I lose recently entered items. Can't enjoy an app if I'm always worried what I've put thought into is going to be lost...

### 3/5 — Really enjoyed this app a while ago!

*2022-12-19, version 1.0.7*

This is a very simple, easy to use app and I appreciate that very much. However, it’s been a long time since it was updated. Will it get an update in the future?

Please and thank you!

### 4/5 — Simple but does everything I want

*2018-01-11, version 1.0.7*

Easy to use (intuitive). Great way to start looking at the glass being half full rather than half empty
A great app for New Year’s Day

### 4/5 — Helps me to realize what’s important.

*2017-12-31, version 1.0.7*

I’m writing this on New Years Eve. The last day of the year to look back and reflect on what happened in my life. I’ve only had this app a few weeks, but already it’s helped me to see that my life is not that bad. I’ve discovered my thanks (or gratitude) list is longer than my wants and needs. I also see that this app has made me really think about wants and needs. I thought I ‘wanted’ and ‘needed’ a lot of STUFF. We are, after all, a materialistic society. I find that my wants are things I want very much and many of the things I had first listed, I deleted. The same is true for needs...the things I need, I really need (like home repairs). My wants and needs lists also helps me to make goals to get those important wants and needs. The only reason I give it 4 stars—if I import a photo and the photo is too large it shows up but is cut off when viewing all lists. I can only see full photo if I look at the actual note the photo is attached to. Also, I wish this app were a bit more fancy looking. Great little app though, and a bargain!

### 4/5 — Good App

*2015-08-20, version 1.0.7*

It does what it says it will do. It would be nice if it let me create additional categories.

### 5/5 — Gratitude for...

*2015-10-10, version 1.0.2*

...not being so clueless that I leave 1-star reviews for no other apparent reason than forgetting my password to an app.

### 5/5 — Wants, needs, thanks App

*2015-10-09, version 1.0.7*

This app is just what I need, user friendly and the price was right. Go Apple! Jenkins

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2015-08-09, version 1.0.3*

I really like this app.

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best journal!

*2015-07-09, version 1.0.3*

Beats competitors! Everyone needs this app!

### 5/5 — Reflection before Planning

*2015-07-03, version 1.0.3*

Using this app has made me more grateful and satisfied. I love the reminders to pause and reflect. I add a picture to every Thanks, Want, and Need and I LOVE looking back through them each week before I start my planning for tasks and projects. I try to use the Want section like a vision board to keep me focused and the Need section to keep me accountable. This app is dreamy!

### 5/5 — I love Wants & Thanks!

*2015-06-19, version 1.0.3*

I love the latest update!

The longer I use the app, the more gratitude I have for the blessings in my life. It's nice looking back at all the things I am grateful for and the blessings I have. It always fills me with joy.

### 5/5 — A legitimate want

*2015-05-10, version 1.0.2*

Having this app is a want and not a need, but there are legitimate wants.

This is a simple but very well-executed app to help appreciate what are our wants, what are our needs, and what we have to be grateful for.

### 5/5 — Scientifically moral

*2015-05-03, version 1.0.2*

Very simple format. Easy to use. The tally and graphs comparing how needs, wants and thanks stack up provides an interesting perspective on where one's priorities are and maybe where they should be instead.

### 5/5 — Backups

*2015-04-28, version 1.0.2*

Please please please?

### 5/5 — Great little app

*2015-04-27, version 1.0.2*

Wants & Needs is a great little app that excels at helping me keep my life balanced (KIS). I can see a snapshot that lets me know if my priorities are in order. In addition I can list any want and in the future determine if it is truly needed or not.
