Waqt is a prayer times and adhan app built on a simple belief: the five daily prayers are the quiet architecture of a Muslim day, and the app that carries them should be accurate, calm and beautiful. Salah times, azan alerts, qibla compass and Ramadan timings are computed on your device and work fully offline, under a deep night-sky interface built for a glance.

The prayer times, the countdown and adhan notifications are always free, with no ad in the way. Qibla, Tasbih, the monthly table and missed-prayer tracking open for four hours with one optional ad you choose to watch — or stay open for good with Waqt Pro, which also removes ads and adds the living day-cycling sky and the gilded widget face. Pro is a subscription, monthly or yearly. Cancel anytime.

Waqt Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple Account settings.

Prayer alerts now actually arrive. The app never asked for the notification permission — all five prayers are on by default, and the request only ran when you switched one ON — so it asks on first run now.

An isha that falls after midnight is no longer lost, Umm al-Qura adds its Ramadan half hour, the qibla no longer freezes on some devices, and you are asked which city you are in the first time you open the app. Settings has its own button on the home screen, and a city row.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-12

Your language, at last.
Waqt now opens in the language your phone speaks — ten of them — and Settings has a new Language row so you can pick any of them yourself, at any time.

Also in this update:
• Qibla, Tasbih, the monthly table and missed prayers open for four hours with one optional ad you choose to watch, or stay open for good with Waqt Pro.
• Waqt Pro now removes ads as well as adding the living day-cycling sky and the gilded widget face.
• The prayer times, the countdown and adhan notifications remain free, with no ad in the way.
• Fixes: the subscription screen no longer clips its longest lines, and prayer alerts are rewritten when you change language.
