In other words, the only way to casually compete is to spend hundreds if not thousands of US dollars. As such, I will be walking away from it. This is exacerbated by old phones due to the poor coding and inability of their dev team to stay current with updates on multiple phones as they push heavily on rolling out new content for revenue. Recently changes were made that mean it is incredibly difficult to progress without spending lots of money. Voltek “chests” which you don’t know what you’re getting (actually illegal in some countries as it’s classed as gambling) and a personal tech tree that will take a decade to complete if you don’t spend money. Old units recycled as “voltek” which would be great if it didn’t take you several years to level them up at the rate you can acquire Voltek fragments without paying for them. New developers have turned this game into a cash cow and people are deserting it fast. Update. They’ve now updated the subscriptions and reduced everything but have the nerve to claim they’re better. From re-arranging your whole base to an unbeatable fortress then losing to a strike, or forgetting that a landmine actually works and wipes out half of your push, it has it all. The games position currently is no shadow of a doubt on a lifeline, its more common to win a lottery ticket than to find a new player under level 50, yet thanks to the current support of the level 100’s and onwards, this beauty of a game is still alive. If the developers can listen to the community more, take suggestions and somehow promote this game to the world, it can be revived again and get the attention it needs back again from years ago. It has so much potential yet it’s utilized incorrectly, and without these fixes, it’ll be too late.
