The gameplay is very smooth and the characters are so well designed. However, I do have a few of suggestions. One suggestion is to make you earn more trophies than you lose. First of all it’s pretty difficult to get to the next tier because of how slow it takes to get trophies. I won a game and then lost another and I lost trophies from that. If you lose a lot your going to lose so many trophies and it’s going to take forever to get them back. Another one is to make matchmaking a little bit faster sometimes I have to wait a whole minute to get another player to battle me. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review! But there are a few things I think should be changed. 1. I think skippy’s stats should be lowered, it’s really op. 2. There doesn’t seem to be any way to get premium currency without paying real money. 3. Shards take WAY to long to open unless you are using premium currency, which I can’t get. I think that should be changed. So for now, just 4 stars. Also, Ssundee, if you are reading this, you are an amazing youtuber, keep up the good work👍 ### 4/5 — Some things could be better *2020-09-10, version 1.0.5* This game is actually really fun but it has some things it could fix such as, making the crystals faster to open, making it so we can delete crystals that we don’t want (I have my inventory full of common crystals that I don’t want) and also checking how close we are to the next rank ### 4/5 — Good game needs fixes *2020-09-02, version 1.0.3* This is a very good and fun game, but it could use some changes. #1 It could use a settings screen and so u can change your name. #2 The tabs on the right u could make so it tells u how many trophies or rank u need to get them. #3 Reduce the cool down of gems by like 50% for all crystals they are a little extreme. #4 When I first started I was getting a lot of the same move Insulator and it can be useful but I got a lot of it. #5 Pit descriptions on the items in the shop. It would be good if you can turn the music off and add a setting. The market and the rankings don’t work. And the timer for the crystals are way too long. I’m in rank three and it takes 12 hours to open a rare egg. It would also be cool if there were quests or some way to earn the gems. And if the shop had more stuff. Another thing that might be cool is that you can sell the moves you don’t need for coins or the purple bits. I love it and I’ve already spent so much time on it. The first suggestion is to add a description of moves in the shop so that you know what that move will do. You could I either do that or add a move gallery that shows a description of every move. The second suggestion is kind of a question and suggestion. I was wondering how to get rarer hero’s because I got a rare crystal a couple of times in rank two but I didn’t see any in rank three. I think that having a set crystal type for each rank is a good idea and maybe you can have a couple of crystals with different drop rates for rarer crystals. That is all I have to say and thank you for making this game!! I will for sure put a five star if you do the first suggestion. You can read a lot more about it here if you are interested: https://www.warofcrypta.guide/ranking ### 4/5 — Great game but needs some tweaks *2020-08-27, version 1.0.3* This is a great game, and I see you guys have a great concept but a few thing you guys could change. #1 you guys should add an analyzer crystal that’s uncommon to get where you have get an analyzer from it that has a chance to have 1-10 uses. #2 you should try and make the match ups so you don’t have the same person to go against like 5 times in a row. You either get a person that beat you each time or you beat them each time, that’s just no fun. And some times you go up against someone with only like 3 hero’s but they are legendary hero’s and they wipe you with only 1 or 2 of em. That just makes it seem like a pay to win kind of game. #3 you should have a way to change your name in game. #4 You should add clans. Lastly you should have a different way to play the games like you should have it where you could do a 2v2 with someone random, or with a clan mate. Have a friends list also so you can add people who you enjoy playing with. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope to see some major or slight improvements to make this the best game. When you eventually get this game figured out you will probably get a 5 star from me! ### 4/5 — Reset Progress *2020-08-27, version 1.0.3* I was playing and I really like this game. But there was recently and update, and all of my progress was randomly reset. I think it was because I wasn’t logged into Game Center. If it was, I don’t think that’s very fair. I was trying to figure out how to sign in multiple times. But there was no options button, no general tab, at least that was obvious. Because of this reason I believe that my progress was reset because I wasn’t logged in, which I couldn’t log in because there wasn’t a clear way to. **Developer response:** We are sorry that this happened to you, but this is due to not being signed in with Game Center as mentioned when pressing the Battle button. We will get a developer to help you out immediately! ### 5/5 — You did an amazing job on this game *2020-08-27, version 1.0.3* The only issue I have with this game though is that I can’t find any way to get the things that tier up your monsters besides buying them from the store. So I only have one of my monsters tiered up. So do I just have to wait for several days until I get lucky enough to find the type of tier ball I need? We need a better way of getting them that’s still hard but not to the point where I have to wait a week until I get what I need. ### 5/5 — Very fun but... *2020-08-27, version 1.0.3* When I play I will often get matched with the same people and face them multiple times. I honestly love the game and I’ve supported as much as I can but that one problem is slightly off putting. ### 4/5 — Needs more content *2020-08-25, version 1.0.2* Cool game but needs maybe game modes. Duo Games where you match up with another play and they against the other team. I think it also needs some kind of woc pass with 40 tiers, some free rewards and better rewards on the payed side. And a Epic hero at tier 40. And the pass resets every 2 months. You go up tiers by doing challenges. If one of these were added I would give 5 stars. Content is what I’m looking for:). ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Needs development *2020-08-21, version 1.0.1* The character models are fine but bland, but the background is a low graphics image that clashes with the CGI models. In general, the graphics need more style. The menu is just clunky and feels bland. Along with this, the combat fells extremely one sided as there’s no system that keeps powerful players fighting weak ones; at no apparent one. If there is one it is to broad. Plus, the combat is entirely dependent on how fast you can get the right type and press the moves. The hero’s are basically copycats of one another except for models. The only combat variance is type and rarity which in the ends are just values for the heroes. Along with this the game game is practically Pokémon minus the RPG. I think the game needs work to make more interesting. It’s pretty new so my hopes are still high. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review and feedback! Also battle fixing *2020-08-27, version 1.0.3* Like seriously it always says I’m a demo and it’s annoying and I get really good heroes but then the game has to update and all my progress resets. It’s annoying please fix it. Also you have to fix battles. I literally fought people who had level 30’s when my highest level is 8, it isn’t fair and you have to fix it. ### 2/5 — Good game but too basic. *2020-08-23, version 1.0.2* As you know the match making is about how much trophy you have but people with a lot of money can have 100 trophy but have a max level legendary hero’s just like what you saw on sunddee video. Please remove when opening crystal you have to wait hours make it like you have to pvp others and when you win you have a chance to get a key which opens the crystal and add where you can choose to delete the crystal because it very annoying. Can you please add unique ability, also my am I always rank 1. ### 2/5 — Problem with screen *2020-08-22, version 1.0.1* The game is great!!!! I just have a slight problem with my screen being zoomed it to much and I can’t find a way to fix it. I’m not able to see my gold or change my account name. Also match making takes to long to start. At times I wait 20 mins to battle and I tried deleting and installing and resetting WiFi please fix all problems. ### 3/5 — Very P2W *2020-10-15, version 1.0.8.1* Unless you plan on investing hundreds of dollars in this game, you’re going to have a hard time as a Free-to-Play player competitively. The monsters only drop from crystals which you gain from -winning- pvp battles. You could either get a move or a monster, but the problem with this is that the quality of the monster solely depends on the luck of the draw. You could get a monster with ivs (numbers that affect the growth of your monster) no higher than 15 across all stats (low numbers are bad) or a monster with near perfect stats and one really crappy one, etc. you have no control over the power or personality. Which means you -have to win- your battles, and pray for good rng to get a decent monster from the single crystal you can ‘hatch’ every 30+ minutes (the time raises depending on rarity). Even the game promotion video shows the owner spending hundreds of dollars for legendaries and epic monsters. In addition, the gold currency is tedious to farm, and the materials required to level up get eaten quickly, so you're stuck waiting for the next crystal to hatch so you can trash whatever poor roll you got for more materials that won’t be enough to level up your creature. This game is a money trap. Don’t expect to go anywhere at a decent ace as a free player. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review and feedback! We will look into how we can improve upon this :) One of our bigger, upcoming update will be Missions and we feel as if that will help resolve a lot of the pain points you brought up! ### 3/5 — It took my money *2020-08-27, version 1.0.3* It’s a good game and all but when I bought 2,500 gems for 20 of MY own money and I didn’t even get it it is an indeed good game but stuff like this is unacceptable cuz honestly who want a game where it just takes your money not me I rated it three stars for the good gameplay and fun but I really just don’t like that so please if any game devs are reading this somehow please don’t do that ### 3/5 — Good game but in need of improvements *2020-08-27, version 1.0.3* This game has the potential to be a 5 star game but it has a few issues that may seem minor but they make gameplay a lot less enjoyable. The first issue is that it automatically assigns your name as your game center account, I made that account years ago and the name is not one I like, plus it doesn’t even fit the set character count so that makes it even worse. Second there is no settings function, I can’t change volume or anything within the game. Somewhat along with the last one there is no profile page, something that almost any game nowadays should have. Finally the shop, it is probably the biggest issue in the game right now that I am aware of. It shows abilities/characters and their respective prices but there is no information on what you are buying. You have to base what you spend your money on whether or not it looks cool enough to be good which is 100% a gamble. I understand that this game is still being developed but some of these things are basic functions that should have been implemented way before release. ### 3/5 — This game is great but... *2020-08-20, version 1.0.1* I can tell the game is brand new but I am having trouble playing since it keeps resetting my data and starting me over again and when I try to sign into Game Center nothing works I tried buying stuff from the shop and sadly I can’t do that neither, I know the game may have glitches or bugs since it’s new but I still find it momentarily annoying sometimes I hope this gets fixed soon ### 4/5 — Yeeeee *2022-04-10, version 1.0.15* The game is really fun but could use some upgrades.
