The missions are clever, the art style is colorful and humorous, and the strategy is deep enough to keep you coming back. It definitely has that “just one more turn” feeling. That said, the subscription model is a big drawback. You’re asked to either pay a recurring monthly fee or a yearly pass (around $30), and honestly, the game doesn’t feel like it justifies that price. For a mobile tactics game, I’d much rather see a one-time purchase or a flat fee with optional microtransactions like Polytopia.
