### 3/5 — Need one time purchase option

*2026-06-20*

I’d pay for a one time purchase option but I’m tired of having to pay for a subscription for everything.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. There are ongoing costs to keep the app running, which is why it's a subscription rather than a one-time purchase. There are still many features available for free with no subscription needed. Please reach out to support@warehouserunner.com if you have any additional feedback or suggestions.

### 2/5 — Not accurate	for my local stores “last checked 2 hours ago” for most things wrong

*2026-04-05*

Not accurate for most of my local stores, when it says “Last checked x hours ago” can no longer be trusted most in/out of stock or even prices is not accurate most of the times on several items over several months when I’m at the store, when I verify with the store the item may not have been in stock for weeks, even tough the app says it was and was “verified 2 hours ago”. Also, I accidentally (my fault) purchased a year and am stuck with it, no refunds. Buyer beware. Don’t delay, make sure you verify its accuracy during the trial (if they have it still) o small month before committing (din’t let it auto bill the subscritpionand forget like me)

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. If you notice specific items that are consistently wrong, please use the "Report Inaccuracy" button on any item page so we can investigate and flag this to user others.

The free version lets you compare up to 3 stores and see all the same pricing and availability data, so you can evaluate accuracy before upgrading. Premium adds up to 10 stores, full price history, price adjustment tracking for receipts, unlimited favorites, search all 600+ warehouses, and more. If you have any other feedback/suggestions please reach out to support@warehouserunner.com.

### 2/5 — Inaccurate

*2026-02-07*

We were presented with a very large list of clearance items supposedly available at the 3 warehouses we are near to. The app listed many more items than we really saw on clearance, and a number of items that the app said were on clearance at the specific warehouse but were not. Overall food items seemed reasonably accurate but clothing was completed inaccurate perhaps 10% of the listed items were available.

I realize this is a Costco issue to a great extent - I've been a member for 25 years and their inventory system is pretty much 1970's at best - but if the underlying data is unreliable it defeats the purpose of the app regardless of where the data comes from.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the detailed feedback. We're always working to improve accuracy, and the app includes a "Report Inaccuracy" feature that lets users flag incorrect prices or availability, which helps improve the data for everyone. We appreciate you taking the time to share this.

### 2/5 — Ok

*2025-12-16, version 1.5.0*

Go quickly, or the inventory change if it is the last one. I didn’t care for the price. I just use the Costco App for free. I just pick the warehouse location. The 3 locations it gave me wasn’t even the closest Costco.

### 3/5 — Not all items show up

*2025-12-15*

The app doesn’t actually let you search any product you want. I wanted the price history of two different products and it doesn’t show it at all, very disappointing.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. I believe we actually connected via email about this - the two items are Costco online-only items. Warehouse Runner tracks prices for items sold in physical warehouses, where the real hidden deals happen (like those .97 clearance markdowns and manager specials that vary by location). If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out at support@warehouserunner.com

### 1/5 — Inacurrate

*2025-11-20, version 1.4.9*

Showing in stock items but the store didnt have any

### 1/5 — Inventory data is not accurate

*2025-10-20*

Downloaded this app and sent me on a wild goose chase looking for an item which was out of stock at all stores. Deleted my subscription and will request a refund. If the data isn’t accurate, it isn’t valuable. Wanted this to work, but it’s a dud.

**Developer response:** Hi, the inventory data displayed comes directly from Costco. Additionally, we've added the ability for you to report inaccuracies with the inventory or price of an item. These reports are visible to other users of the app. You can also easily tap to call a warehouse from the app to save you a trip to the warehouse in cases were an item may be listed "Low Stock" or you just want to double check to save you a trip.

### 1/5 — delete + one star for new update sept 19 2025

*2025-09-21*

No longer able to pick warehouses on free tier become useless. <app delete> and move on

**Developer response:** Hi, this is absolutely NOT the case. No features have been removed for free users. Free users can still select up-to 3 warehouses. Can you please reach out to support@warehouserunner.com if you are having issues doing this? The Settings screen (where you set your warehouses) is viewable after you tap the three dots, "... More', in the bottom tab bar. From there, you can select your warehouses.

### 2/5 — Clearance Clutter

*2025-09-15*

Needs to have a way to exclude clothing when looking at the clearance/sales section.

**Developer response:** Hi, the app does allow you to only show a certain category (e.g. sporting goods) but not exclude. This is a good suggestion that should be something we can add. In the future, please write to us at support@warehouserunner.com with any feature requests. Thanks for the feedback!

### 1/5 — $80/year??? No way

*2025-07-12*

What a joke. I was trying to find one item, and their website intentionally withheld the stores that had it in stock saying I need to download the app. So I did. Then it wanted to charge me $80/year to search beyond my 3 closest stores. No thanks. I’d have paid $5 for lifetime access. Beyond that you can eat a bag of mallard ducks.

**Developer response:** Hi, the app is pretty transparent about its free vs premium features. The free version allows you to search any three locations of your choice, receive alerts when up-to 10 items go on sale, view new items at your warehouses (and nationally), viewing unlimited deals/sales at your warehouses, and many more. The pro version offers more favorites, more warehouses, historical prices/trends, and ability to search prices for all 600+ costco warehouses and 4 million+ store items. I hope this helps you or any other person who is confused on free vs paid features.

### 2/5 — Good app / bad pricing

*2025-07-10*

The app is good but the yearly sub is more expensive than Costco membership. I think there’s a pricing mistake here. It’d have a huge user base if the price were better positioned.

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for the feedback! The goal of the app is to provide the ultimate savings tool for Costco enthusiasts (like ourselves) that can save thousands a year. The free version still has amazing functionality to start saving money: price alerts for favorite items, current pricing/inventory for up-to three warehouses, unlimited deals/sale items for your warehouses, and more.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not accurate at all

*2026-05-13*

3 local locations show 2 highly and one low in stock. How about zero because I checked against the Costco App. And shop there weekly. It hasn’t even exist for the last 5 months. Use the Costco App is way better.

**Developer response:** Hi, you can change your 3 warehouses to any of the 600+ Costcos in the United States. This allows you to search multiple Costco Warehouses for free. If you have any questions or feedback, please reach out at support@warehouserunner.com.

### 1/5 — Was Useful until..

*2026-05-07, version 1.6.4*

the developers got greedy hiding features behind paywall. Deleting.

### 1/5 — $7 wasted

*2026-05-07*

I was looking for a specific item so bought a month subscription. Turns out all the deals were across the country. The search function is very limited, I’m not actually able to easily search for thing (categories are huge - I don’t need to see candles when all I’m looking for is furniture for my new apartment). If there was a week free trial or the price point was much cheaper this app would make more sense. If I find some value in the remaining month I’ll change this review.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. The app does let you set your preferred stores so that results are scoped to your local warehouses rather than showing deals across the country. If you haven't already, try selecting your nearest locations in the Stores tab.

We hear you on search and filtering. Better category filtering and more granular search are on our roadmap.

The free version includes full pricing and availability data for up to 3 stores, so you can always evaluate before subscribing.

### 1/5 — Not accurate at all

*2026-02-19*

Used for multiple locations, app needs work as accuracy is off. I noticed items shown discounted and in stock but the items have been out for at least a couple months.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. If an item shows as in stock, that's what's currently being reported for that location. Sometimes there are discrepancies between what's reported and what's actually on the shelf. If you spot something off, you can tap "Report Inaccuracy" on the item to update it for other users. We're always working on improvements to accuracy.

### 1/5 — Great app, randomly stopped working!

*2026-02-09*

I really love this app but one day I opened it and it was empty - like I could flick through the screens but it showed zero items in each category

I have tried deleted and redownloading the app many times, nothing fixes it. And there doesn’t appear to be a way to report bugs. Very frustrating!

**Developer response:** Hi, sorry you're having trouble! I believe you wrote in and I responded with steps to help diagnose the issue. One thing to check: make sure your time is set to "Set Automatically" in your iPhone settings. If that doesn't help, please open Warehouse Runner > Settings (gear icon) > Diagnostics > Run Diagnostics > Send Feedback With Diagnostics and send to support@warehouserunner.com.

### 1/5 — You can’t really buy anything

*2026-01-16*

The app isn’t useful because the Costco inventory reports on which it’s based are inaccurate when they get to the very last few items. They’ll be sold out yet the app shows low stock. So you can’t really buy things.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. The app is designed for price tracking and comparison rather than purchasing. It shows recent prices, inventory status, price drop alerts, notifications for potential receipt adjustments, new items at your warehouse, and more. If you notice any errors with price or availability, you can report them in the app so others can see your feedback. You can always email us at support@warehouserunner.com if you have any additional feedback.

### 1/5 — You can’t really buy anything

*2026-01-11*

The app isn’t useful because inventory is wildly off and nonexistent at warehouses. So you can’t really buy it.

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money on premium

*2026-01-01, version 1.5.0*

Data was over a week old- waste of money

### 1/5 — Downloaded App to Search for Costco Item

*2026-01-01, version 1.5.0*

I made multiple searches for sunglasses and not one pair of sunglasses appeared. I do not recommend this app.

### 1/5 — Can't change zip code for local warehouses

*2025-12-26, version 1.5.0*

I disabled the location detection on all of my devices, so I usually get the home page for stores in Miami when I go to retail websites. HOWEVER, this app won't allow me to change the zip code and I'm not going to turn on my location detection bc of one app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Really useful

*2026-07-03*

It’s not 100% accurate at times but most of the time it’s very useful to see if items are in stock and the pricing! The only negative is that I find the subscription too much money for what you get, I’d gladly pay the $80 for a lifetime sub and maybe around $20 for a yearly but the current pricing is too high for me to subscribe and the free version does most of what I need anyway. Wish the official Costco app had this functionality!

### 5/5 — Very smart app

*2026-04-21, version 1.6.2*

It’s very smart!

### 5/5 — Impressive

*2026-03-02*

I wish this app was the warehouse tab of our favorite club app, as it’s impressive. I plan to purchase the yearly plan to support.

Two things that would be nice

1. Scanning product barcodes to pull up the item instead of the sign

2. Tracking Ecom orders for price drops (I understand this might be difficult)

### 5/5 — All about Costco

*2026-02-16*

Great App for Costco lovers!!!

### 5/5 — Just, Simply GREAT !

*2026-02-05, version 1.5.5*

The best app ever made for shopping best prices and it is pretty accurate.Well worth the premium. U won’t regret it. Saving gas, time and effort, as well as $. Still can’t grasp how it does it. It is like Magic. Well as long as it is legal, the technical stuff is where the developers should excel and are indeed. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-01-14*

This app is definitely helpful in helping you find clearance items, mind you that Costco may have some inaccuracies with reporting in stock or low stock. It’s always best to call the warehouse before going to make sure the item you’re looking for is available. Wish there was a bigger selection for stores when you pay for premium since where I live there is tons of Costcos around possible allowing up to 20 stores? Also noticed trending page on your site, perhaps adding that to the app? Also when searching all stores. Being able to filter by state would help

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review and feedback! Great suggestions on expanding store limits, adding trending, and state filtering. We'll keep these in mind for future updates.

### 5/5 — great app and new update fix bugs over time when report

*2025-09-26*

there will be bugs at some update. Stock generally correct 60-70% for clearance by nature.

### 5/5 — Now one of my most used apps

*2025-09-22*

Crazy to have all of the price data in your pocket. The velocity of updates improving the app are really impressive. Please keep it up!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the kinds words! If you have any feature requests please let us know! support@warehouserunner.com

### 5/5 — Very Impressive

*2025-09-18*

Deal searching is amazing! I wrote a critical review complaining about the lack of deal filters which cluttered the app with clothing that likely had scrap sizes left. Within 3 days the developer responded to my critique and updated the app with filters that greatly improve the user experience. Super awesome!

**Developer response:** Hi, the app does allow you to only show a certain category (e.g. sporting goods) but not exclude. This is a good suggestion that should be something we can add. In the future, please write to us at support@warehouserunner.com with any feature requests. Thanks for the feedback!

### 5/5 — See discounts/markdowns and price history anytime you want. Time and money saver!

*2025-05-01*

Would be even better if you could see new items at your stores too

**Developer response:** Thank you for the kind words! Adding a screen for new items at each location is a good idea. I think we should be able to add that. Thanks again!
