If you are looking for a game that doesn’t take any brains to think and play so you can disconnect this is the one for you. The other WF is a bit more hands on if you want more control (but only a wee tad bit more that’s all:) Yes you can pay for weapons so it is very much pay to win but try out the game and youll see how silly it is. It doesn’t matter if you care to waste money or use it for more important things all can play and win. ### 4/5 — Fun, but ultimately Pay to Win *2025-12-07* It is a fun game. Bunch of different upgradable characters with different skills and weapons, 3 classes of Striker/ Brute/ Assassin that are all relatively balanced. Relatively. (Explosive weapon characters are a bit OP) Decent variety of game modes from PVE to PVP on a handful of maps. However, there is the choice to BUY more powerful weapons for each character, and you KNOW when you run into them on maps. More firepower, faster movement speed while firing, increased range. Getting into a 1V1 with someone who has purchased the upgraded weapon for their character is almost always impossible to win, regardless of class, gadgets and upgrades, unless you basically get super lucky. Since most of the event modes are PVP, you encounter them quite often, which is… frustrating. Get blasted by a rocket, grenade or bullet that comes from someone you can’t even SEE on your screen that takes about a THIRD of your health in one shot? They bought the weapon. Not the weapon for gold bars that you earn (VERY slowly) in game, the one you buy for real money, which is even MORE powerful than the one you get for gold bars. That’s my biggest gripe. It’d be nice if there were more variety of maps as well. The PVP game modes Payload and Wipeout both only have 1 map to play on, which gets boring after a while. The “energy” you use for XP is also a little low, only takes about 3-4 matches to run out, then you either wait for refill or watch ads for 100 energy (that’s about 1 games worth). Like I said it IS a fun game with decent mechanics, decent reward system, good variety of characters and classes, but the Pay to Win weapons really take it down a few pegs. Maybe if the range and move speed were nerfed a bit, it’d give more of a chance to defeat them in a 1V1, but as it stands you may as well just run away, cuz you WILL lose that fight, regardless of character, class, gadgets. ### 4/5 — Joy stick *2025-07-17* Can y’all make game controller compatible ### 3/5 — Need more to do *2025-05-25* Need more to do. Es gibt verschiedene Modi, gut durchdachte Charaktere , verschiedene Maps… Und dann ist es natürlich massiver Pay to win. Das wundert ja wahrscheinlich auch keinen. Man kann das allerdings mit Skill einigermaßen ausgleichen. Die Spieler, die sich schon nach zwei Tagen alle legendären Charakter plus Extra Waffen und super Skins gekauft haben, trifft man dann meistens im Finale. WarFriend Legends team ### 1/5 — Where is raid mode? *2025-05-01* I’ve been playing the game since it came out, and I’ve invested some money in this developer as a way of supporting them because it had a good premise and was fun. The raid PvE mode was really good. Then overnight they release an update and remove the raid to add another PvP mode—even though there were already several—and take away the only PvE mode. It made me lose interest in playing. I really hope they bring back a PvE-only mode. **Developer response:** Hi, Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback. Ads don’t work tho lots of ‘free’ rewards depend on them. You can remove said ads for £20 LOL. A ton of ridiculously priced bundles and currencies on top of a stamina system AND timer to open rewards…jeez!!! Talk about mega greed at every single step. **Developer response:** Hey. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Yes, you can remove all ads by one-time purchase and get a lot of value by claiming all ad rewards daily. Starter pack for $3 USD and most other packs cost $1-$10 USD. There is no limitation in playing battles, only XP gain is limited, but can be increased. Moreover, there are a lot of totally free rewards that you can get instantly, like free season pass, trophy crates, task crates and mastery paths. However, we want to give all players the best user experience possible, so we will change the frequency and limit of after-battle ads per day very soon. Player base is growing every day as the game was launched just a week ago. We would appreciate if you could give a game another chance. And it's kinda dumb to have an xp meter that runs out after a couple of matches especially if you do well and gain a lot of xp for a match. It takes forever to upgrade equipment and the secondary weapons for the characters are highly overpriced, with the point being to try to force you into paying for their gold packages.
