the game is fun and looks good no complaints about that but every like 40 mins the game crashes and I have to replay 15 to 20 mins of the level. It’s really annoying

It’s a great game for fans of both turn-based strategies and Warhammer 40k lore. However the crashes are infuriating. It’s not a free-to-play game, fix them, goddamit!

Bin ein Riesen Fan von Mechanicus, und hab es mir gerne ein zweites Mal nach der pc Version auch für mobile besorgt. Leider funktioniert es nicht einwandfrei auf meinem iPad. Es stürzt öfter mal ab. Ein quicksave Button wäre toll um Fortschritt davor einfacher schützen zu können.

Плюсы: — определенно лучшая из всех мобилок по 40к в части погружения в гримдарк вселенную (над сюжетом работал кто то из официальных писателей GW). Редкие диалоги и озвучка действительно атмосферные — гибкая система прокачки с огромной вариативность прохождения не создаёт ощущения «сюжетных рельс» и однообразности. Каждый раз решаешь неординарную тактическую задачу именно своим подходом, это круто! — не затягивает излишне, нет доната! При этом возможно рекомендовать к прохождению несколько раз из за той же вариативности — хорошо что не стали заморачиваться с глубокой прорисовкой Минусы — вылетает реально, сохраняться лучше как можно чаще — на 4 айпад мини не грузиться отдельные текстуры карт, что остановило прогресс на 78 процентах. Не могу завершить сюжет из за этого бага! Для платного контента это не приемлимо! доиграть уж очень охото, продукт стоящий

Fun game, some crashes. UI issue renders the game unplayable late game.  If you have too many abilities on your priest you can no longer press the end turn icon due to it being stuck behind the camera rotation buttons. iPad mini.

I have this on steam as well and it seems to have some parody to the pc version with some graphical limitations but not far off from the switch port even works with mouse.

This is great. I’d give it 5 stars if it didn’t crash occasionally. What I really appreciate is that this game does not follow the in-game purchase model. I find that profit model very annoying. I’ll pay more for a game like this. One price, solid gaming.  Nice.

I noticed there weren’t any written reviews since some stability updates were released so I thought I would leave a more recent one.  The game itself is a fun TBS, and the port (though I haven’t played the PC version) seems solid.  The only minor annoyance is that what would normally be a “mouse hover” to read a tooltip requires you to hold your finger down and slide it around so you don’t accidentally click.

In terms of crashing, it does happen but not enough to enrage me or make me want to stop playing, I just save often.  Honestly, iOS seems to just have terrible memory management or something - I have to reboot my tablet a few times a week anyway just during normal use because Firefox, etc. just start getting flakey.  If you want to minimize crashing while playing this game, just don’t multitask.  Reboot the tablet and then play the game, and don’t jump to other apps, and it should be fine.  You can also save while in fights, not just at the strategic layer, so if you do that every couple of turns you won’t be replaying many turns.

TL;DR, it’s a fun game and a good port that for me has been enjoyable with a bit of planning.

Crashes all the time. Crashes multiple time a battle. Can’t even start the third Heretek mission because it crashes when I try to.

It’s alright, but fairly mediocre and tedious, and it compares poorly to competitors like Xcom.  I find all Kalypso games to be similarly lacking though, and the default Warhammer lore to be shallow, so you may feel differently if you’re a Warhammer fanatic.

Порт любимой игры за 800 рублей на айпаде про… НО есть один ньюанс: игра может зависнуть на любой миссии, зачастую в самом конце мисии, и так ПОСТОЯННО, у меня ни одна игра не виснет, НИ ОДНА… а тут на тебе 800 рублей за недопиленный порт… 1 звезда, и то из-за уважения к Вахе.

The game is unplayable on my iPad Air 2. The battle map won’t render properly on the very first fight in the tutorial, can’t get past it.

This iPad release was probably my most anticipated one for me in a long time, despite me having already bought the PC version. It could be the most authentic Warhammer 40000 game out there (at least with the most impressive art direction I’ve seen). Even if you are not into the universe, this is also a great way to buy a full-fledged modern high-rated PC/console game and have it on iPad for just $17. There isn’t much like it out there.
It’s basically like Xcom in W40K with tech-priests, Necrons and pipe organ chorus electronic music. A channel like Mandalore Gaming or Angry Joe can articulate why this game is great better than me.
PS Spotify and Apple Music has the soundtrack. You are welcome.

Для знакомства с вселенной Warhammer 40000- отличный входной билет. Однако есть ряд минусов: - главный минус- слабовастенькое участие в сюжете. По сути на каждой локации вы просто ходите по комнатам и выбираете один из 2-3 ответов. - решения на сюжет никак не влияют. Можно было бы сделать интереснее: чтобы расшифровка или анализ данных в комнатах влияли на открытие или исследования оружия, брони и прочих плюшек. Ничего этого нет - ОГРОМНЫЙ минус: в оружии нет никакой информации о дальности. Приходится наугад ставить и смотреть уже в бою. В локациях также один-два боя и все. Никаких диалогов, сюжетных поворотов. Также странная затея с очками хода, которые приходится "высасывать" из сооружений Некросов. По сути, отряд, получается, прется в логова неприятеля даже без возможности стрельнуть или ударить топором. Да и сами Механикусы крайне против чужеродных технологий- а тут получается без энергии Некросов даже пукнуть не могут. Где логика? Сами бои и движок интересные. Создается ощущение, что игру просто не успели проработать. Мог быть совсем шедевр. За игру все равно спасибо- очень годный способ проникнуться вселенной и приобщиться к настолкам по Warhammer 40000.

Perfect adaptation of the pc game obviously the graphics are reduced but that is to be expected only flaw I‘ve found is that sometimes the game bugs out during combat but they’ll most likely fix it soon
